RE: Mary Smith
As far as I know that is all that any Lilley ever owned. John J Lilley came out at the end of the Civil War and entered 80 acres. He bought an additional 40 at some point (or his heirs did). J J died in the mid 1870's. He had 5 sons: George W, Oliver, J Nepheu, Frank and Joseph J. Frank ended up with the Lilley acreage. George moved closer to Randolph, Oliver went to OK, and Joe and "Neff" ended up near Wheaton in Pott. Co.

RE: Mary Smith
I am not related to the Teske's, no. My grandmother (and her father) were born on School Branch, so like you, I found their little cemetery intriguing. Supposedly there are only 2 graves there, with no stones. If there are no stones, I wonder how they know how many are buried there? Fred had another wife of very short duration, and one of the daughters' graves is unaccounted for.
(I built her a memorial at Fancy Creek/Randolph).

My grandmother was a Lilley. They were pretty much gone from there by the mid 40's. There farm was real near Dettmer Rd.

Corrected Mary's birthdate. Figure that was a slip of the lightning quick fingers!

I think I found Maggie Teske. mem. #24468319
She married August Behrent 28 Nov 1882. Also found August Behrent #59631285, with a potential dau Margaret #59631286. Need a bit more info to be sure they are correct ones, though.

RE: Laura Waldraven
The Eversmeyers at Ober and Swede Creek are definitely the same family. I have most of my brother-in-laws info, as I helped my sister research it, so will check to see if Henry shows up.

I changed the birthdate as you requested, and linked Laura to her parents. I have family at Peach Grove, and went thru one time and added memorials from the 2001 printed tombstone readings that the Riley Co Gen Soc did. It's possible that there was an error there, or I just goofed. If you are a relative and want this memorial transferred to your care, send a request.

I see that you have Eversmeyer's in your management. My brother-in-law is an Eversmeyer descendent. His great and great-great-grandparents are at Zion Cem (Ober).

I am not sure where I found her name, probably in a Riley Co Geneology, I have several those, I went and looked when you asked and not sure yet--there so many, it was what someone sent me. I can't locate any more that fsmily--they didn't send an obit...and obits not always right either, but closer. The reason I think it may or may not be traced as it dated after the Government mover of cemetaries in Riley Co before that, that situation messed up so many earlier--when they put in the dam, people who had personal cemetaries lost them, they were warned, but not moved-- I don't think this one them though...Marie

Thanks for that info, I know the area but thats what obit said so put in, she could have been born there originally, I am going leave it there with a note, and wrote it down in case it happens again--many small towns or/townships are gone...

Gerald Frederick # 97602288
Here we go again with another possibly misspelled surname on the online cemetery listing. Looking at old cemetery records, it is possible that Gerald's surname should have been spelled "Friederich".

If this is the case then Otto Henry and LaVera Louise Friederich are located in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Chanute, Neosho, KS.

Their numbers are: 27514777 and 27514778

Hope this helps.

Lolly

Happens all the time that someone can't find their relative because of misspelled names.

Anyway, I also have most of the memorials in the Chanute cemeteries with the names of Brandon and Braden.

If you will go to the memorial "Edit Tab" on each memorial, and request transfer. I will also transfer any other relatives that you'd like if I own them (as long as they aren't related to me).

You will just have to check to see which name I transcribed them under. Brandon or Braden. If someone else owns them, then you'll have to make a request of that contributor.

No, I am not related to Dora.

I'm not positive, but reasonable sure that I transcribed her from Chanute's online cemetery.

There are many, many errors in those listings with spellings, and some with dates.

She is listed, but with the spelling of McClaren.

As for the marriage date, I have a copy of Neosho County Marriages, 1864 to 1915. (Which also has many mispellings in it.

But we work with what we have. When we are in error, someone always makes contact with us. In that way we can usually get everything corrected.

I will transfer Dora to you for your care.

RE: Hagedorn Relatives
Lewis' parents are Walter and Martha. I have made my virtual cemeteries public. If you click on my Hagedorn virtual cemetery, you will find Lewis on there. I have been working on ancestry for quite a while now. I have a lot of Dettmers documented, but I still haven't figured out who Arlyss' parents are.

RE: Hagedorn Relatives
Yes I am. Lewis and Arlyss are my great uncle and aunt. Lewis passed away in 2003 and Arlyss is living in Fort Worth. I am assuming that you are related to Arlyss.
