Evening Dara,
Just an FYI to let ya know that I have the 3 family members that U requested. While I was out there, I also took fotos of Ella, Rube, John & Maud.
I am leaving tomorrow for Austin, Tx. on business and will be back mid-week, I will get all this posted upon my return.
Just wanted to let ya know that it will be taken care of.
Later, James Coston

Hi Dara,

I don't mind maintaining hers. I'm not descended from her. Her husband was the nephew of my 4G grandfather Allen Holland.

Thanks for the edit!

RE: Eli Eichelberger
You are correct that the wife of Eli Eichelberger is Mary Margaret Ake.

The mother of Eli is Mary Johnston 18742038.

You're quite welcome... had to look again, I didn't notice, but, um, a year and 3 days. I noticed in some obits and other articles seems there were bad illnesses going around.

You SAID:
I did request a transfer in the edit portion of her memorial...hopefully I will get an answer...I manage JC DeBlieux, Mary's husband and their children...it would be a shame for me not to manage his wife, we will see.
My reply:
Well, if you can't get to manage his wife, we will hyperlink her name on his memorial and it will link them together even though you don't manage it or maybe NAHM will relationship his Mary to your JC.

I hope you are trying to get in touch with NAHM by using "edit" on his memorial, then using the link "making a suggest or correction", ask for the transfer in a note, make sure you click on "copy" of the SAC to be sent to you....wait 30 days then send that copy to edit. He will still get credit for making the original memorial but you will manage it. You can't delete any memorial that is transferred to you without asking administration to do it for you.

RE: Mary Lucille Hyams DeBlieux
Send a copy of your email attempting to get in touch with the maker of the original memorial to Edit@findagrave.com. In the subject line, state you are requesting a transfer. Explain that you have had no response from the member who made the original.

As you know from reading the guidelines, which are listed on the left side of any memorial under "Help with Find A Grave", an uncle doesn't fall within the category of a mandatory transfer, but it would hurt to ask. You may not get the transfer.

At times I do transfer outside of the guidelines and maybe this will be the same for you, but never the less, you can't make a duplicate memorial. This is a grave registration site meaning one memorial for one grave. The main purpose of site is not to record our genealogy but we do it anyway, don't we.

I have had to do hyperlinks when I couldn't manage the memorial. If you need help with that, I will be glad to help you.

Hope this is helpful and have a bless day.

RE: Salem Cemetery-David Volentine
My wife was a VOLENTINE and this family has been here in Claiborne Parish since 1860. This VALENTINE family moved in during the middle 1900s. It is not uncommon for them to be mixed, but no connection is known. The stone for Lewis & Beverly is the parents of David and it is also listed as VOLENTINE on Find A Grave, but the stone has VALENTINE. I have a couple of pictures of the stone where the name is visiable, if you would wish a copy. I can send it.
