Shepherd photos

Hi Neil:

Thanks for taking and posting these photos!

For reasons I do not fathom, the announcement that you had posted the photos came to my spam folder! So, I am sorry for any delay in thanking you!

Do you know what section these markers are in: another Find A Grave member told me that according to the cemetery records the Shepherds had been disinterred…. I wonder where the marker you photographed is located…

Thanks again!

To Neil, thankyou very much for taking and posting this photo for me and so quickly. It is very much appreciated. Matthew is my Great Great Great Grand Uncle which I have only just found out he and 2 brothers and their mother had sailed to America while their brother George sailed to Australia. Fantastic to be able to see his monument from so far away. Again thanks.

RE: Neil Carnot Macdonald
OK, sounds good. I found a picture of my brother standing behind Neil C. Macdonald's grave in 1961...I don't know how my wife and I could of missed all the Macdonald graves.

The only grave not listed in find a grave is my grandfathers grave Charles Younger Macdonald...Neil's brother. I was told by the Brooks funeral Home in Langdon N.D. he was buried in the Hannah cemetery.

Thanks for your help

I was in the Hannah N. Dakota Cemetery July 4, 2013 and Neil Carnot Macdonald's head stone was not there. Also seven other Macdonald markers were not there?

A photo of Neil C. Macdonald was taken 8, June 2013 showing his grave marker plus the seven others in the Hannah N. Dakota cemetery. Can anyone help me out. Jerry....

Norman Goodman
Edward Goodman
Hello, Neil.
I have just discovered the Find A Grave site and I was so thrilled to discover the grave of Edward Goodman. I believe he was the son of Edward and Bathsheba (Cox) and therefor my father's cousin.
Edward and my father's father (Levi)were born in Rockingham, Northamptonshire,England. Levi was the youngest in the family. Edward had emigrated from England in 1900 with his brother Joseph, and joined a younger brother Arthur, who had emigrated in 1893.

I was also excited to see your name in connection with Edward's grave. Would you have been related to him? I ask because there is a Neil Goodman, son of Maurice Edward and grandson of Arthur and Elise Goodman - the Arthur who was first of the Rockingham Goodmans to emigrate.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know if anything I have written strikes a chord with you or with your family.

My very best regards, Norman Francis Goodman (b.1937)
