Thank you !
Thank you for letting me know about Elizabeth Zimmerman.. she is my 4 x's great grandmother. I have sent a message to the other contributor trying to solve the issue.. i told them i'd provide them with the info and links to add to their memorial and i'd delete mine to get rid of the duplicate.. that way the headstone photo isnt lost as well. Thanks again for bringing this to my attention :)

Blossers
My grandfather was William Baker of Malta Bend. He had a sister that married John Blosser. Then there was a Mary Baker who married Henry Blosser. They all lived in the same area of Saline County. You may use any of my pictures you want. That is why I have put them out there. Enjoy!

Amanda (Minnie) Smith Apple
I have been searching for Minnie Smith for a long time. I had heard stories many years ago that she was sent to Goshen. I tried searching for her but didn't find her until today.
Thank you so much for the research on Susanna Shirk and George Apple, I never put it together when I found the census records for George and Susanna Apple, which I have had for a long time.

Minnie Smith as I have it recorded from the DeKalb County, Indiana Birth records. Aug. 16, 1877.
She was the sister of my great grandfather Reuben Smith.
Minnie's mother Amanda Shirk Smith died September 6, 1877. She was my great great grandmother.

Mt mother was related distantly with the Blossers but you may use any of my pictures that you want. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and taking pictures. Odd hobby but I enjoy it.

Frances Funk Blosser
Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know that your entry regarding the married name of Frances Funk Blosser's daughter - Magdalena Frances Blosser Eye is correct.

Magdelene Blosser married John Jacob Eye. I am descended from them through their youngest son Grover Cleveland Eye.

Thanks,

Paula Olds

To make sure you are aware of this... as I believe it is where dad buried them.

RE: Flowers
“Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
Robert Frost

No problem, again so sorry the picture is kind of blurry. Linda Flowers has beautiful pictures (the site I linked) of the crypts/niches. I know she hasn't been feeling good, but am going to try to get her to upload her crypt pictures to F.A.G., as they are pretty awesome.

I am over in Oak Leaf Village, just of Klosterman. If you are ever up for "stoning" let me know!

RE: Dad's niche picture
What after 25 years of being denied knowledge of where my father was buried you think I might like to see a picture of it? I see my father in my memories and the few pictures I have. Thank for the offer though.

Just noticed on your memorial for Harold R Blosser, that you stated it was kind of up in the air if Harold was buried there. I am "mowing rows" there right now, and I can tell you he does have a niche with his name plate on it, along with a an "American Ex-Prisoner of War" emblem. I will post a picture, sorry if it is a little blurry, but the niches/crypts are really hard with my iphone.

According to Linda Flower, who has done extensive work for Pinellas Genealogy, this is his exact place.

http://fl-genweb.org/mpc/pinellas/cemeteries/cycadia_cemetery/ab/index.html

The records for Cycadia seem to be horrible. Tarpon Springs is very lucky that they now have the caretaker that we do, he is amazing, and the grounds workers are out there every day, doing what they can.

Also wanted to say thank you for posting a picture of him. I spend a lot of time trying to document Cycadia, and it is always wonderful to be able to put a face to the names I am entering.

Keep up your great work, it is such a blessing to people you will probably never meet.

RE: Shrimplin Cemetery Spurgeons
Mark:

Unfortunately I have never been in the Shrimplin Cemetery. However, I did just add memorial # 91311961 for Virginia Irene (Carpenter) Maroney to the Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh. I found her obituary in The Coshocton Tribune which I typed into her memorial. She was first married to Charles Clayton Spurgeon.

Was wondering if you could give me exact directions to this cemetery. I know where Sunny Slope Lane is, can I get to the cemetery on my own or do I need to ask permission from someone? is it close to the road or do I need to hike in? thanks
