RE: Thanks so much!
Thanks for replying back, Judi! You are right in your assessment of some of the people here on Find A Grave! I get so angry when I see where someone has put 90,000 on know they are not doing it for the right reasons! I agree with what you are saying and another thing that bothers me is when those kind see an obit in the paper and put them on the cemetery page BEFORE they are buried!! That happened here last week..
Oh well..........there ARE some on here that are trying to help others as we both are. Take care,

RE: Thanks so much!
Judi, the reason I did not attach a photo of the Krannings as I put their memorial on is I am in the process of adding ALL of the graves in the Fairview Cemetery and this old 74 year old body will only let me do so much. I add names until I get tired and then try to add as many photos as I can. If you will check, you will see that I added several photos of the Krannings that you did not ask for. I am NOT doing this to see how many I can get! I am doing it so my local cemetery will be on line and perhaps people find their loved ones. Sorry if I have offended you.

Thank you
Thank you for taking the photograph of my father's tombstone. I never had the pleasure of meeting him. Some day I hope to drive down from Huntsville, Alabama to visit his grave. Thanks again! Orvie Ray Howton (Williams).

James Gilbert Courtney
He was my grandfather & I know from his own lips what his birthday was as well from my mother, grandmother & all the rest of our family. Also from his birth record as "baby boy Courtney" born to Lucie Courtney in GREENE Co. IN in the WPA birth records. His Courtney/Freed family's farmland crossed over the Greene & Daviess County lines, & the various houses he lived in & was born in were very close together, though in different counties. (Lucie was a Bynum & they were all in Greene Co., which is why he may have been born there, among her relatives.) Thus the later relatives' assumption as to which county he was born in being Daviess, but my research into the birth records of both Daviess & Greene Cos. found the correct one to be Greene Co.

I read your email and can see there is a problem here. The stones of the two wives I have listed for him both have inscriptions stating they were the wife of J.A. Courtney. I do not see another J.A Courtney listed. I'll have to do some more research. Email me some copies of what you have if you want. I want to get this corrected. Thanks for getting in touch with me.

What documentation do you have on her first name other than the book -- which is incorrect as family members have told me?

Have you had time yet to see how Franklin Stuart Mullis, JR. connects in your family? I'm still very interested in knowing.

He is my Gr-Gr-Grandfather and I have never heard the name Joseph used in reference to him. How do you come by this info? I am not against adding the name but was just wanting to verify first. Thank You

RE: Flowers you left for 'Clem' Sullivan, FAG Memorial # 7394651
Hi, Judi,

I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond. No, I don't know anything about Clem Sullivan. I used to spend time here just picking names or cemeteries at random and leaving a flower to someone who didn't have one and I chose your loved one's name by chance.

I have removed the old flower (there was no fee--there is only a $5 charge when you sponsor a grave and a red heart will appear) and will leave a new tribute when Clem Sullivan's cemetery info is updated.

May you and your family have a Blessed and Peaceful New Year.

My duplicate has been removed, thank you for being able to get the other moved to the correct location, I had messaged several people about memorials when I photographed Harmony and many didn't respond, so I am glad that he is now listed correctly :)

Thank you for contacting me about her memorial and giving me a little insight! This is the reason I do transfer them to their families - it's my honor to transfer her to your care! You should have her in a few minutes!

If there is anything else I can ever do for you at Greenwood, please let me know. It's just down the street and I'm there about once a week.
