So Harry Stipes is Ralph's brother-in-law? Is Betty's maiden name Ferguson? Thanks Ashley.

Is this Ralph Ferguson's kin or Marjorie's kin? If so, is Harry's wife Betty deceased? Thank you, Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417

RE: ferguson
Ashley, I am no relation to the Ferguson's, I just live close to this cemetery so been doing a lot of photography there. Your pictures are nice but I don't see the grave marker photograph showing. It is hidden by all your pictures. These memorials are especially for the grave sites, so may I suggest you put it in 2nd position below the best picture you have of him. Thanks, Kaye

Hi Ashley, do you have anything to add to this memorial? If so, please use the Edit tab on the memorial page, it makes it much easier. Thanks!

Ferguson's
On the back of Ferguson's gravestone is Harry R. Stipes 1918-2008 & his wife, Betty L. Stipes
1928- blank. I don't know if she is still alive or not, maybe you do. I figure it is relation. Good nite, Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417

Civil War Documents
Hey Ashley:

Sorry. I've been pulled away on things and just got to the documents today and am working on them as a base to see where they take things, i.e. first wife Mary Ann Sykes of Newland Moffit Harmer. It's quite a story that has been passed down through the family and I'm sorting things out.

I'll email more later, OK?

RE: pate
The only Henry Pate I see in Iowa is #68868423, a Civil war veteran buried in Linn County. There could be other Pates in that cemetery, but they aren't listed on FindAGrave. You probably discovered this already. I live a distance from there. Wish I could be of more help.

RE: pate
I am not related to the Pates or Keefers, I just enjoy linking family members, especially those in Memory Gardens (Iowa City) near my home. Let me know if I can do anything for you.

Stand back.

You're getting an email with the grave photo and whatever info I have on Flora Clementine Troup and Henry Pate.

Best, Barry

Flora Clementine Troup Pate

Hi. Ashley

Have we corresponded previously? I was corresponding about two months ago with someone working on the Pates.

Flora Clementine? Would love to see a memorial put up for her. For Findagrave you have to "know where the bodies are buried" and I don't have a clue. Actually I have a photo of her and Henry Pate's gravestone my mother took years ago but I don't know where it is - Lisbon, Iowa??

Would you like to create a memorial?
