Hi, that was fast, Carolyn! I see that it is quite long on the memorial and you can easily make it shorter by going in and editing the lines that are short by deleting space which brings the next line up, and so forth. It makes it closer/tighter text not so long if you care to.

Boggs - Tulocay Cemetery
Hi - would you like me to transfer the Boggs' memorials I created in the Tulocay Cemetery to you? I'm not remotely relate :) No pressures, just an offer!

Looked yesterday and still no death date engraved on stone. When I am at the cemetery, I will continue to cruise past the grave and look at the stone which is visible from the road.

Carr Headstone Photos
Hello Carolyn,

Thank you very much for the photos of Jacob and Mary Ann Carr's headstones. You are an excellent photographer, and, once again, you have succeeded in filling my request for these photos. Mary Ann was a sister to my great-grandfather, Jacob Kerns.

Sincerely,
Leon Armentrout

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you for the additional information regarding Samuel's military service. His name does not appear on the rosters and that caused some question.

Best wishes,

Joe

I just want to thank you for all of the hard work you have done over the years and the wonderful memorial I found today for my 7th great grandparents! We never knew anything about our Boggs and Clendenin ancestors because my mother never knew her father. She is 82 and knew that the name on her birth certificate was Boggs, but only now have I been able to trace his lineage all the way back to Scotland. It's quite thrilling to my family to finally discover who these ancestors were and I love reading the stories about them!

Brent Smith
Smith Relative
Hello Carolyn,
I was just following a cookie trail and came upon your name through a posting. I see that you are related to the Smith family. I am related to Sarah Elizabeth Garee Boggs' paternal grandmother, Sarah Smith Garee. She was a 1st cousin 6 times removed of mine. Sarah Garee's father, Timothy Smith, was my 5th Great Grand Uncle. I am a descendent of Anthony Smith, Timothy's brother.
I totally agree about Find A Grave. I have found so much information about my family heritage. I need every little nugget to help me narrow down the search when I am looking for such a common name as Smith. I would be more then happy to share information with you and help you fill in the blanks both ways.

thanks,
Brent Smith

You are very welcome. Glad to share this cemetery. My uncle knew where it was and I asked him to take me to several of our family graveyards on Middle Mountain since he is one of the only ones in the family who knows exactly where they are. I was just curious as to how you are related to the Carrs and the people in this cemetery. John and Elizabeth Wyatt are my ggg grandparents and Ira Carr in this cemetery is my great grandfather's brother. two of my great uncles are also buried here as well as other family members. We may have discussed this before and I have forgotten. You may email me if you want to share info. I have been working alot on the Carr side of my family lately.

RE: French S Kerns Memorial #14088821
Thank you for confirming that French Kern's mother was indeed the daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Smith. It seemed right, but I just couldn't verify for sure. As for Phoebe's death date. I have looked through my papers and I can't find a source. I do know that I had just added that date in recently and I'm pretty sure that I had found a death record for her, but I ended up saving a marriage record instead (I had like 10 browsers opened at once). I thought I had found it on the WV Division of Culture and History Website. Now it's going to drive me crazy and I will have to go back and look again. It was hard to find, I think there were only initials used but Andrew was the informant? It really is going to drive me crazy until I find it again. :)
And yes, please, I will take any and all sources you could provide. I do have most of the census records, I have done a little research on them, but haven't gone too extensive yet, so I would really appreciate all you could share. Thanks so much, Carolyn. And when I find that death info on Phoebe I will be sure to let you know
