|Frances Morgan||Patience Jones Hunter|
Is there actually a tombstone for her? If so, what exactly is the inscription? A Patience Hunter was clearly a widow in 1840 and on the mortality schedule in 1850. However, Isaac Hunter is supposed to have died in 1845. Is that date actually on his stone or is that from someone's research. He's not on the 1840 census and only one Isaac Hunter is on the 1841 tax list and there should be two Isaacs if he was still alive. If Patience was in fact a Jones, I believe she might have been a sister of Giles Jones and Frances Alley Jones, wife of Alexander Hunter, and daughter of James Jones and Christian Thomas from Wake Co, NC. Christian's younger sister Charlotte Thomas was the second wife of an earlier Isaac Hunter, father of Isaac Hunter and Alexander Hunter who moved to Dickson. Any records you have proving Patience Hunter was a Jones and was also the wife of Isaac Hunter (Alexander's brother) would be greatly appreciated. Many claim that Isaac's wife was named Charlotty Martin, but I can find no proof for her and I can't tell exactly what is on the stone that some say is hers. |J. Faulkner||RE: Jennie Bowker #153130386|
Jennie Clements married Sidney Sullivan 1 Nov 1884 in Tipton County, TN. In 1900 they were living together in Shelby County, TN with several children. Her name was listed as Johnie Sullivan born March 1868. Two of the children died in 1915. See memorial # 120842236 for Frank E. Sullivan. There are discrepancies, but I believe she is the same person as Jennie Bowker. You can follow Ancestry leads to see the records I viewed. Let me know what you think.

|J. Faulkner||Jennie Bowker|
Listed as Miss Jennie L Sullivan on her 1912 marriage record. She was age 16 when first married according the 1930 census. Daughter of Will Clements according to information provided by William Bowker on her death certificate. Do you have additional information to prove her maiden name was Sullivan?

Researching the family and we are running in the same circles. I have a tree on ancestry called southside cousins. I would love to add any family photos you have to the tree. If your not a member of ancestry, I can invite you to my tree and you can see what I have and tell me where I am wrong.

|Dave Robison||John Thomas Bentley|
Hello Dave Davidson!
I'm filling in some of the blanks (and there are many) in my family tree data base. I've been contacted by a cousin whose connection to me wasn't clear, at least from my perspective. Once we straightened that out, I began plugging in the links between us. That's where John Thomas Bentley comes in. The irony here is the similarity in our names (Dave Davidson - Dave Robison) and the fact that John T worked for the L&N railroad. One of my great grandfathers from Evergreen Alabama was hit by one of their trains back in 1918. His car rolled backward, downhill onto the tracks and he died 2 days later.
I just wanted to make the connection and offer you any help I can provide. It seems you and I are also connected at some level!

Thanks for your extra efforts to locate the grave of Racheal Nancy "Martha Ann" (Magness) McAllister in the Soddy Presbyterian Cemetery.
Also, thanks for your kind offer to transfer the additional McAllister memorials. However, they are distant cousins of my wife and we will leave those memorials for a closer relative to claim.

Many thanks for your photo of James Knox "Polk" McAllister's tombstone in the Soddy Presbyterian Cemetery, Soddy, Hamilton County, TN.
By chance did you see a tombstone for his wife, Racheal Nancy "Martha Ann" (Magness) McAllister (1846-1916)? She is supposed to be buried in the same cemetery.
