Children of Philip & Matilda Hoffman
Hi there, I was hoping next time you head to the Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Nora, you might be willing to check on and clean and/or get a rubbing of the headstone of three children born to Philip and Matilda Hoffman. The name and dates of the child at the top of the stone is the one I am most curious about. Thanks so much for considering!

RE: Arthur Gerald Michaelson Photo
Could I ask the name of your Grandfather who had the American Legion yearbook. Plano is a small town and our families lived there for many decades?

Thanks for you kind reply.

Blessings, Duane

Arthur Gerald Michaelson Photo
Thanks for posting the picture of Jerry on my memorial, it was one of the main ones we used at his memorial. He was in the Merchant Marines who were not considered "real" military, yet more of them died than members of the Navy. He was on a refueling ship, they were big targets with little capability of self protection. Jerry is my Father in law, my wifes Dad. We grew up around Plano Illinois. I have been having a very difficult time locating any information on Jerry's Dad Henry Michealson different spelling than Dad's. If the American Legion has anything on him I would certainly love to know about it??

Blessings,

Pipersville Cemetery
Hi Marlene - thank you so much for posting the photo of the 'pile' of gravestones at Pipersville Cemetery. By officials, who do you mean? the township? I would help with a work day, just to organize them apart from each other. Are the gravestones legible? Thank you for sharing what is happening there! I was born in Jefferson County, and go back 5-6 generations in the area, including relatives such as Charles Perry (great uncle), buried at Pipersville. Best wishes, Beth

RE: Robert Ovitt
Hello!
I hope I fixed the orientation of the photos. I meant no disrespect, so sorry about that!
I am very glad to have been able to help. If you need any further detail on these, feel free to let me know. I know I'm still new at this and by no means a pro photographer, so I will gladly help out if more photos are needed.
Have a super day!
Debbie

Robert Elmer Ovitt memorial photo
Dear Marlene, I wanted to express my deep gratitude for your having added the photo for my cousin Robert Ovitt (Find A Grave Memorial# 47989227)which provided all of the information about his service for our country. I am just discovering his part of our family and I am so proud and grateful to him.I am sure many others have benefited by your kindness in including the records from that book in their memorials. You are a shining example of what Findagrave is all about. I hope that you are able to find a good photo of your grandpa Bob Cleveland. Many blessings to you and yours.

Michael and Theresia Seitz
Hello Marlene,
I was very impressed to read your biography and the passion you have for family history. I am a 2nd great grandson of Michael (#94818682) and Theresia (#94818793) Seitz. You are correct that they are buried at St. John's Cemetery. I have pictures of them and the Grave site. I would ask if you would consider transferring management of these to me if possible. If not, there are duplicate sites on both of them on find a grave at a different cemetery as Michael (#8070485)and Theresia (#8070491). The owner is inactive. possibly you could correct this by contacting the Administrators. Thanks,
Greg Benedict (GBen #47771674)
