Dianne Caves Carman
Dressel Farm Cemetery
Hello,

I was at this cemetery a few years ago to fulfill a grave request. I have added what markers I could match to the ones posted. I have some that are not on the list. I have photographed it as much as was there. Would you like me to email the images I have taken? I have tried to enhance them to further read them but some are too faded or grown over. I thought if these are your family you may want them anyway.

Regards, Dianne

Fosters in Alton Cemetery
Thanks for the info for Alfred F--I checked my original spreadsheet, and the other one was originally just A F Foster, so I changed it back to that. That person is in a different section of the cemetery.

RE: Dillon - Greenwood Cemetery
Hi. I transferred 2 of the memorials, but the Ellen Dillon # you gave me goes to a grave I have no ownership of. It led to a Steven Payne?

Please check your information. You sent me a link for his "mother" when actually it linked him back to himself. :) I deleted that link.

Thank you so much for writing concerning him... do you happen to have a source for his birth date that I can add to his memorial?
Blessings,

Yes I do see it a lot that the second one in a marriage to pass does not always get a marker or engraved. As a friend of institution is in charge of their final expenses and details. Thanks again

Jacob and Clara Prueitt
Thought you might like to know i have linked Jacob and Clara Prueitt with their son Oscar who is buried here in Cape Girardeau, Mo. at the Fairmount City Cemetery. I am not related - just a volunteer who is trying to add links and bio information to the memorial pages. Hope this helps you. I loved the information about Jacob on his memorial page. Ruth

Hello,
I am sorry but his grave location is not exactly known, and it is not marked. The lot location has been lost on the current maps.

Please see the caption on the photo.

Anton & Elelie Schosser at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! Photos posted for both of them.

The date on Anton's side of the marker has almost entirely eroded away. You can still see part of the date if you enlarge the photo.

The dirty white plaque on the base of the marker has the name "SCHOSSER" on it.

It is done. I knew Howard and his wife. Enjoyed them both. I helped Howard find his missing relative named Huss.

Thank you so much for the memorial information on your Dad and Kenneth Klenk. Your Dad certainly has an impressive memorial page. I know you are very proud of him as I am of my Dad. I included both men in my Virtual Cemetery of the Fighting First - it is not just for those at Normandy. Thank you again for this information.

My Dad is listed in my Virtual Cemtery also. If you are interested in viewing his memorial it is under Garvice Jobe, buried in Claunch, NM. It is not an actual military memorial but we did have his Army info etched on his gravestone.

I saw on one of my memorials that you added a notation in the flower section that your Dad was in Company L. Was he at Omaha Beach? If he was and has since passed, I would like to add him to my virtual cemetary of The Fighting First. Could you give me his memorial #. Thanks so much. My Dad was at Omaha Beach during WWII.
