I think the only broken stone is My Aunt Martha Wampler Gilley

The photo you added to the Gilley Cemetery on Baum Hollow Road looks likes the hill for the Pete Gilly Hill Cemetery on Maples Gap Road in Crackers Neck. This cemetery has lots of broken and unreadable monuments not the Gilley Cemetery on Baum Hollow Road.

I spent hours looking for just one gravestone in Section 12. With the maps and worksheet today, I spent 5 minutes - for Louisa.

Thank you for that correction and I would be happy to have Mabel Smiley if you would be willing to do the transfer. Thanks!

There appears to be a typo for my husband's great aunt, Mabel Smiley. It should read Mabel instead of Maybel. I also wanted to let you know that Rose C Kilian that is buried next to this headstone is Mabel's mother. Thanks for creating this!

Henry B Long, must have remarried because the 1930 census states Minerva and his death certificate states Minerva as the wife. You can add the photo, I am not related, just happened to find this and added it for someone to find their family member.

|Dianna Taylor||RE: Hello :)|
I just realized that we have exchanged messages on Ancestry.
One of these day's (years) I'm going to make that trip to Wise Co. I'm in Arizona.
I spoke to someone at the Wise County Historical Society about a year ago, he has indexed most of the cemeteries, said he was working on the Gilley cemeteries but so far has not published them. He had only mentioned 2, the one you went to and he said there was another near Crackers Neck.

The information you put on Thomas Frazier's memorial is correct except that my Grandmother, Minnie Frazier Mullins was also his sister. She was actually the oldest child of George M Frazier and Clarinda Wells. She married Thomas Wiley Mullins. Their children are Pleas Mullins, Wade Mullins and Bonnie Mae Mullins Fisher. I am the youngest child of Pleas and Crecie Shepherd Mullins. I do not know where my Grandmother, Minnie is buried, but my Grandfather, Thomas Mullins is also buried in the Gilley Cemetery.
If you have any information on my family I would appreciate you letting me know. Thank you so much.

|Dianna Taylor||Hello :)|
Thanks for adding all the Gilley memorials and markers photos, I was wondering if you live near the Gilley Cemetery? I've noticed that request for photos there have not been answered and I'm hoping you could take some more photos there.
I'm a decendant of John Gilley & Mary Kate Barger, they are my 5th Great Grand Parents (twice)
