I noticed someone reported an error for your Benjamin Robinson request at Lytle Cemetery in Chippewa County, MI, but I was able to locate and photograph that stone today. I'll be uploading the photo within the next few days, if you can leave the request listed.

Sorry can't locate photo, will try and get back to W Salem and take another, will add it to Find A Grave. I have the cemetery book published in 1975-It has your Palmer in row 15, there is a Rosa listed she died 1-8-1860 I don't have a photo for her, the stone may be missing or unreadable. No George is listed there.
I checked the 1880 census book-those Palmer are not listed. I also have a birth record book mainly from the 1860's to the early 1900's-no listings for Elizabeth and George.

Hi Deb; I would be willing to transfer the Croker memorials to you. I have no interest in them personally, just took their photos while in cemetery.

I just want to say thank you for helping me find some of my family, it's always nice to know where you come from! I was wondering if you found out who Andrew Skinners parents were? Or maybe where they immigrated from? Thank you!

Well, I finally did. Thank you. I think I decided that I'd not really done it because it would not come up when I searched....anyway, now it is taken care of. Thank you. And I bet that you're cold up there because we are pretty chilly down here....smiles to you. Gina

I live not far from the National Cemetery in Nashville, TN. I went over there recently and went to the grave of William T. Reed and took the photos of his headstone. I have a friend of mine that is buried not far from this one. I was in Chattanooga when I went by the cemetery there to take a photo for a friend of mine, that is when I took the photo of Henry's tombstone. It was interesting in learning about the family. I try to do a follow up on those that I take photos of just to learn the family history and something about them.

Debra, Not a problem. I enjoy being able to find photos for people. It is fun to help people out in their searches as people have helped me. Plus I find it relaxing wondering through the peaceful cemeteries. Good luck with your search for information on Benjamin Pierce. Are you familiar with the fultonhistory.com site? It is a free site with millions of newspaper articles on it. I have found some very useful information there that have helped me to fill in a number of gaps and make things clearer about my family relationships etc. Peg

Deb, I received two photo requests from Find A Grave for the above. Right now we have about 22 inches of snow on the level in my yard here in Rudyard, so I will have to put these on the back burner which I have been doing with people all winter. I might be well into the summer before I can get to these but I will do it as soon as possible. I believe that you are #12 on my to do list. -mld-

I was at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN yesterday taking a photo for a friend of mine. I also took several other photos of stones that were in the same area. I took a photo of Henry S. Reed's stone. I then started doing some research on him. After reading I found that his father William T. Reed was also buried in Tennessee. I live not far from the National Cemetery in Nashville, TN. I have linked Henry to his parents. I hope this helps some family members. I know that by taking that photo I found out how much a family sacrificed during the war.

Hey, Thank you for your suggestion for linking Walter and Sarah Skipper/Skepper Fairfield to one another....I have not done this in a while and will try to remember how to do the linking and then link. Yes, they are direct ancestors and are my 8x great grandparents.
Smiles and sunshine to you from the Florida panhandle, Gina

I think there is a photo of the surroundings of the Lytle Cemetery. I'll check as soon as I have time. If you don't hear from me soon, please contact me directly at email@example.com
The photos were taken by a woman who lives in Detour and her friend, my neighbor on Lake Huron. They don't have a lot of computer skills but were happy to have a project and enjoyed touring the cemetery to find the gravestones.

Thank you Debra for you message, I am not on Ancestry so you would have to give me a personal invitation so I could see your tree. I don't know if you have more than I have or not. So the Keene's that are buried in the Lindsley Cemetery Cheshire Township Allegan Co MI. are related also as they would be Sarah's family? Is that right?
Thank you for your time and help with this.

I enlisted the aid of friends, one of whom lives in Detour MI and the other next door to our cottage on Lake Huron in the Huron Beach area between Rogers City and Cheboygan. They have each lost their spouse in the past year and found each other thru the internet. They LOVED going to the cemetery to look for the graves. They took LOVELY pictures too.
I too am Mayflower descended thru my maternal grandmother (Aurelia Maria Weeks Potter) and grandfather (Erastus Melvin Potter).
I was very pleased to see the extensive genealogical information you posted on the Robinson memorial. He sprang to life for us and made the documentation of his final resting place all the more important for the three of us involved in the picture taking.
