Mount Hope Project
Hi -
I was wondering if, in your Mount Hope records, you have anything on a Mattie Lee Measles or Mattie Lee Kaveney? Family records and some online sources indicate she's buried in Mount Hope but there's nothing online as of yet.

Thanks for all of your work.

Thank you for the transfer. I love what you've written about your work for findagrave. I am not related to Mr. Parker. I only took an interest in his sister's burial arrangement, and then discovered he was buried nearby. It's all about the stories, as you so aptly put it!

Hello. In May you asked if I could help you locate some information on Samuel Brookover. Due to person circumstances, I'm unable to help you. I hope you can find someone else in the area willing to look up the information. If you will contact me so I can respond via your email I can suggest someone to contact.

Hi, My name is Ryan. I see that you manage Nelson Porter's Memorial, # 93369022. I was wondering if you added the info on the page talking about him being the persons grandpa, or if someone sent you the information and the photos. Nelson is my 3rd great grandfather and I have no pictures of him so I was just curious. Thanks! Ryan

RE: Reupke family, Mt Hope
Well, if you don't get there, it is okay. I claimed some photos at Greenwood, as it turns out, so I can go look at Mt Hope, too, when I am out. I just have to get myself in gear! Good luck with the foot surgery!

Wetzell gravestones
Hello, again! May I also have your permission to download the photos of the gravestones of the Rannells-related family, the Wetzell?
I was so happy to stumble across this line - it has been a bear trying to connect the families!!
Thank you, again, for your consideration.

Reupke family, Mt Hope
When visiting some of my family's graves last Friday, I came across a Reupke gravestone that had been knocked over. I notified a groundskeeper (who seemed to know what he was talking about) and he said that he would see that it is repaired. It would be good to check it though, and I think you get to Mt Hope more often than I do. I posted the pictures of the stone, but I would be glad to remove those when we get knew photos of a repaired marker. I didn't see Howard's parents graves, or I would have photographed them, too. I don't have a smart phone, so I didn't realize until I got home that there was more family there somewhere. (I also sent you some edits for a few pieces of information I picked up in researching the family.) If you are unable to check up on the broken grave marker, let me know, and I will try to get back there myself.

RE: Agnes Johnson
I didn't realize there was an obituary available for Agnes. I will check back to see if you post it...

I found Agnes' second husband a little whilet ago. His name is actually "Oral Valentine Johnson."
b. 25 DEC 1883 - Nebraska (six siblings)
d. 07 JAN 1971 - unknown

I have not found where he is interred. I need to find where his family in interred in Nebraska.

Oral remarried in 1966. #2 was named "Agnus Huyler". I have not looked into her yet.
Oral was the second husband of my great grandfather's sister (Agnes). I have no blood investment, but I love tracking it down. ;-)

Agnes Johnson (113267321)
1) Return Preston Hawes (113222232)
2) Oral Valentine Johnson (unknown)

OH! And you found Return Dawes' middle name, Preston. Good find!

Thank you for your help. I lived in San Diego County for 47 years. My wife and I moved to Missouri in 2012. I volunteer for Find-a-Grave, too. Trying to offset the kindness of folks like you.

RE: Kenneth S KENYON
Dear,

thank you very much for helping me.
The airplane from Kenneth Kenyon crashed not far from my hometown were I lived a few years ago.
It's one of the many aircrafts that crashed over there. I have a website with all the information about this (completed for 30%)
http://aircraft-crashes-belgium.jouwweb.be/
I use Find a Grave many times to find more info.
When I was lookin for Kenneth Kenyon I found very interesting info about him and his family with a lot of pictures!
All was created by WBRTHR from Find a Grave. Unfortunately I can't contact him. Maybe he knows more about the relatives!
But for Kenneth he mentioned that Kenneth Kenyon is still burried in Webbekom Diest, Belgium.
I got a letter (dated March 15 1988) from the Department of the Army; Mortuary Affairs and
Casualty Support Division with the following info: "His remains were temporarily interred in the civilian Cemetery, Assent,Diest Belgium. Subsequently his remains were repatriated to the Cypress View Mausoleum, San Diego, California."

Very strange but I also found the medals (Purple Heart and Air Medal) from Kenneth Kenyon on the internet. http://www.ww1collector.com/ It's from a collector and he placed also his email address on his site. Unfortunately when I send him an email it can't be delivered...

So, I hope this information can help you.
I hope you can provide me a picture from Kenneth's grave.

Many thanks for helping me.

Kind Reagards,

Rudy
