No problem at all. We were down the Cape visiting Mom, doing a little genealogy research and decided to look and see if anyone needed pics. My niece was more than happy to continue the scavenger hunt, so it was really our pleasure.

There's a padlock on the gate and from the response they sent me, I gather you do have to ask them for access. Only a few months to go.....

Hi, Barbara: I was the one who asked Pattie to make the Burgman link, husband to wife. Didn't realize at the time that you had the memorial of son Charles Burgman. Appreciate your making that link. I don't need to manage it, since the Burgmans are distant relations through marriage. As always, grateful for your contributions. JOEL

Hello, Thank you so much for trying!!! I will contact his son. I dont know if his son knows he can get a headstone through the VA.

Please do not rush, when ever it is convenient. I will not pay them anything else, I will see if they will confirm marked or unmarked without a charge. Thanks for all your help.

|Lisa Seifred||Peter & Vita Ciringione|
Thanks for looking for markers for me. I received plot information from the cemetary office. I expected all Ciringione's to be located together and all Spasiano's to be together. I did not expect the possibility that they were unmarked, did this seem the probability to you? Were there no other Ciringiones around? I appreciate all your efforts!

I am so happy to have the photo of family at St. Johns Cemetery. This photo surely says more than 1,000 words. Now I just have to piece the puzzle together of the names and their connection. Thank you for your kindness, time and thoughtfulness in submitting it.

You are very welcome. His stone is located with about 15 other memorial stones from several different US wars and near some trees so the stone is sometimes shaded. This cemetery is well taken care of and a respectful place. My husband is a Viet Nam vet and he was glad that he was with me when we located the stone.
All the best. EJ

Your email brought me to tears. How very kind of you to volunteer to put flowers on her grave. Your email posting the pictures was incredible and so very timely-June 8th was her birthday-it was a wonderful gift for both of us. It is so difficult at times, even after years have passed to come to terms with the loss of a loved one-especially a mother-it is so nice to know they are remembered fondly.

I don't know how to best express my appreciation for your generosity other than to say Thank You. Shortly after my mom's passing, I had a very unfortunate series of abdominal surgeries with several months' hospitalizations and am still recuperating. I have not been back to NY since her burial and have been plagued by whether or not the headstone was installed properly and how the site was being maintained. The pictures you took and placed on her memorial page are very clear and you took them on such a lovely sunny day-I feel like I saw her grave myself!
My husband and I would like to thank you again for your selfless work. You are truly appreciated. May God forever Bless you.
