RE: John Christian Nauman
Sharon-I do have an article from the Holt County Sentinel dated Aug, 1918, which gives history on John Christian Nauman family. They have been having family reunions since 1904 in Holt County., Missouri. If you would like to have the article, let me know and I will try scanning it and email it to you!

Dorrell Rash
Do you have any documentation that says Dorrell is indeed buried in Laurel Hill? I have recently photographed (and documented) the entire cemetery and would hate for me (or another volunteer) to spend a ton of time looking....Thanks!

John Nauman
Did they live in Virginia? Did they ever migrate to Missouri? My Naumans are all in Holt County, Missouri, but there are still probably many Naumans that stayed in Virginia. My Grandfather's cousin, Lena Estella Nauman Long moved back to Virginia and stayed until her death.

John Christian Nauman
John Christian Nauman was the son of my GG Aunt Mary Alice (Long) and her husband, Joseph Sirum. He would have been a first cousin to my Grandfather, Oliver Wilton Long. I don't do Ancestry.com, but have access to it when I go to St. Joseph to the Historical Society down there. I just took picture of his and Pink's monument a few weeks ago! So, if he is your Grandparent, then we are indeed distant cousins! We share a common grandmother and grandfather, Andrew Jackson Long and Mary SNYDER Long, buried Page County, VA. Check out the portrait of her on her memorial! Carolyn Kent of Craig, Mo. has it and I took photo of it.

You have a photo request for Elizabeth Christopher in Greenmount. I don't see the stone with the Jackson's that are there. I will take one more look now that I know I'm in the right spot.

In the mean time, I've added her obituary and have added her husband in Hillcrest Cemetery, Md and linked them. Hope this at least helps with your research.

NAUMANS
I attended the Nauman reunion last Sunday. Met some cousins there. We share a great-grandmother, Mary Snyder Long and Andrew Jackson Long. Will check to see if you may be a cousin. It was a great experience.

Dianne Sue Steinberger in East Hill Cemetery, Erie, Kansas
Dianne Sue is not a Steinberger... her father was Theodore Dyer Little and her mother is Alice Charlene (nee Blair). Theodore's mother was Dorothy Isabell (nee Neill), daughter of Winifred (nee Steinberger) Neill. That is probably why little Dianne is buried there. She was stillborn so her birth and death dates are the same. She was born in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

Naumans
Hi Sharon-I am related to the Naumans. My two Great-great Aunts married Joseph and Jacob Nauman, so I related to half the Naumans in Holt County. I live in Holt County, so am interested in these local cemeteries. We have a Groves Cemetery about 2 miles north of where I live. Are you related to any of the deceased there? When I was fist married, my husband and I lived in Charles and Alice Groves home, which is almost right across from that cemetery. I am on the board of the Holt County Historical Society, so if there is ever any research I can help you with, just let me know. (No charge) Have a great day, and thanks for thanking me, I appreciate that very much.

Sharon, the photos for Ada, Philman and Nancy Jane were not posted by me. Please click on the name below each of these photos and ask that person to remove them. I can't . They are not even from the same cemetery. First time I've seen this happen.

Thanks, Bruce
