Jo Ann Kaufman
date of birth discrepancies
Hi, Lori
Saw a note requesting a photo for that reason and had to mention this. Remember rule #1 for family history: all we know for certain about obituaries, death records and (as I'm now learning,) church funeral records is who DID NOT provide the information! Anything is possible and the clues may never connect. Rule #2 is related: who answered the door to the census taker? On June 1, the adults and probably oldest children were out in the fields getting the crops into the ground. Think about it... explains a lot.

You said....."Hi, any connection to Mark Kelsey and Bethia Hopkins (as parents) is not possible, as this person was born WAY after them."
I have no clue as to what you are talking about. When I went there, those names were not on the memorial. You maybe did an edit?
I only have that memorial because the creator went inactive. I did no linking or anything of it.
If you are related to him or any others with my name on, please list them and ask for transfers.

I see that you left a memorial for Nicholas White, Sr. and you stated that he was your 9th Great Grandfather...

Well, he is also my 9th Great Grandfather and was hoping that we could make a connection.

Hope to hear back from you...

Hi Lori:
I looked at both sites for William, and I think they are 2 different people. They are buried in 2 different cemeteries with headstones in both cemeteries as well. I did NOT delete neither one of the memorials.

Michael Johannes is my 6th great grandfather. Am trying to connect all the Freemyers, Frimires, Frymires, a lot of different spellings. I think his wife is buried in Schoharie also

Name: John B Wilber
Birth Year: abt 1845
Death Date: 20 Dec 1920
Age at Death: 75
Death Place: Santa Clara, California, USA

I have found on Ancestry where they will list a person dying in one state and then stating a death in WA since that was the person's regular residence. If you contact me at, I can send you the original listing.

RE: Wilber grave in IOOF Ellensburg
Hi, I checked two databases for the IOOF w/ both spellings and he is not there. I also checked the WA Death Index on Ancestry and FHC and he is not there. Guess who I found dying in Santa Clara, CA 12/20/1920 at the age of 75.

RE: Wilber grave in IOOF Ellensburg
Do you have a death date? I have a listing for the IOOF which is good through a couple of years ago. If you don't have death date, do you have approx. birth year? I can check for the death date and see if I can find an obit for him.

Charles Phillips
I see you are looking for a Charles Phillips buried at Old Cedar Cemetery. I didn't see a stone for Charles when their but I did get a picture of his wife Mary Phillips stone. It is broken in half, top half as Mary wife of Charles Phillips and the bottom half has died July 22 either 1813 or 1843

RE: re: 68745902
Hi Lori,
This is a very old headstone and I'll get to the county library and check for any dates they have for Elizabeth. I can't make out the dates on the headstone for sure, there are only about 5 headstones in that cemetery and all are very hard to read. I'll get back to you on this.

RE: David Glass #24775848
68745902 Elizabeth. Born 1744 means she would have been 101 when she married David Glass in 1845. I guess it's a different Elizabeth. I'll keep looking.

68745902 Elizabeth Glass
Elizabeth was born in 1744? My David Glass was born in 1793. That would make this Elizabeth 49 years older than David. Mary Elizabeth (Phillis) Cherry Glass could not have been 49 years older, I don't believe. I'll try to find a birth record for Mary Elizabeth (Phillis) Cherry Glass somewhere to determine her year of birth.

RE: David Glass #24775848
Hi, I located the 1850 Census but I'm not sure which one is the Susannah you mentioned. There is an Alcinda Cherry age 7 and an Isabella J. McCall age 20. I tried to locate burial records for Mary Elizabeth (Phillis) Cherry Glass but so far, no luck. I'll keep looking. CindyLee

Hi, Yes David is the father of Moses J. who is the father of my great-grandfather Moses Ulysses Glass. But I don't know who David's wives were. I believe there was a Martha born in Pennsylvania? If you have any leads for me, I'll try to research them. I could not locate his 1875 obituary. CindyLee

Elizabeth Dor
Hi Lori, thanks for your suggestion. The marker reads "Dor", so I think I should leave it as "Dor". I know it can be confusing with old names that change spelling over time.

Hi there - Thanks for providing the date of birth for this memorial. Would you happen to know if there's a cemetery I could add as well? Thanks!

I will try to get better photo's for you as well as other Wallbridge photo's next time I'm in Dunnville. Riverside Cemetery is indeed next to the river and when I went the mosquitos almost carried me away. I also read that James Wallbridge once lived in St.Catharines. I live in St.Catharines so if you need anything looked up at the library or any stones photographed in the area, just let me know
