I do that quite regularly--confuse the spouse and parent links...I think the headings on the memorial pages need to be all caps or bold or something. But mostly I think I just get used to them being in a certain position on the page, and so assume that anything in the same place is the same thing. But that depends on the size of the Bio, among other things.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 137878545 Catherine Roi (Roy)
Thank you for noticing that on Catherine Roy! I've changed her children and added all of Jeanne Faye's children (I'd only had one listed for her). Thanks so much!

I agree that it doesn't make sense for William Garvin that he would have been born in 1870 but served in the Confederate Army. However, that is what our cemetery records and the headstone have, so that is what is entered. We have a very old pioneer cemetery without clear records. I'm hoping to take some time this summer to look into a bunch of questions more thoroughly and see what we can find on past records. I will keep this one on my list to investigate! Thank you!

I corrected the name as you requested. I am a volunteer and entered the memorial from another source that may not have been reliable! I shall take your word of wisdom concerning this matter! :-)

Info was taken from Emanuel Cemetery index and that has 1829. I went back to Church birth records and it is 1892. Thanks for telling me correct it.

Thank you Barbara. Very good observation!
Totally my mistake. The gravestone has
date of death: Dec. 11, 1730, not Nov.
11, 1730. I clicked the wrong month.
Thank you for the correction.
Happy Holidays
Sandy

RE: Transfer requests
A transfer is when you ask to take over the management of a memorial for a direct ancestor. A request to use a photo is simply asking to use a photo. Yes, use my photo with proper credit given.

RE: Sarah Jane Howell
I will go back and look at her obituary. Usually if it lists the parents I will add it to the memorial. I will check if it lists any siblings.

I wish I did know what happened to Elizabeth, not sure where you are but I live here in Western Massachusetts, just 2 miles from Southampton Center Cemetery. I could try and see if Hampshire County has something on the incident. How horrible and tragic. Jim
