Sharman - Ward families
I have been compiling the Sharman families for over 40 years and am missing some information. I would be glad to help you and share information.
I have over 5000 names in my family tree and corresponded with many of the Ward families many years ago. As you know Elizabeth Sharman married George Prevost Ward and had 7 children. Some of their children went out West.
Hope we can help each other.
Most sincerely,
Trudi Sharman

I checked the burial report and Fred B Hunt is in Union Cemetery beside his wife Sarah. I will take both pics. I added Fred's memorial and will transfer it to you if you like.

I spent some time in Lakeside Cemetery in Sacketts Harbor today and after more than an hour I had no luck locating this headstone. Perhaps when I return next summer I will have more luck. Do you have any other information about thepossible location or corresponding markers?? Message me if you do.

Lawrence Cochran
There is no listing of a Lawrence Cochran at Butte County cemetery, which is a pauper's cemetery. The only Cochran is Marshall William. The earliest burials on the list are from the 1930's so he might be at another, older Butte County cemetery.

RE: Lawrence Cochran
We finally found out who takes care of the Butte County Cemetary! They told us that the headstones sink into the ground over the course of the year and every spring they go in and pull them back up and reset them, so we will be going back after they do this to do photos.

Bixby photo request
The Bixby Cemetery in Bainbridge NY where you requested photos for Samuel and Hannah Bixby no longer exists. All headstones were removed many many years ago, but the bodies are still there. However, the families of Samuel and Hannah put a replacement marker for them at Greenlawn Cemetery. I will try to get a picture the next time I go, but it is only a memorial stone.

I posted a picture of the area where he is buried. There is no headstone for him. Will get a better picture when the grass turns green.
