I'm not real familiar with my grandmothers side of the family. My mom passed away when I was 8 years old and grandma had already passed away and I've never really heard any one talk about my grandmothers mother or father. I'm sorry I couldn't help you.

Hi, yes, I know. It is a very shiny granite monument which was hard to photograph, so I edited it lighter and darker in hopes that whoever was interested in it could see the inscription better one way or the other. So I am leaving the photos as is. Thanks for your observation.

Debbie, I just became a member of Find-a-Grave and have not figured out everything yet. Walter Young was my grandfather, and I only added his birth place. William Young is my great-grandfather, and I am still searching for his parents. It seems that he was orphaned at age 6 months and that is making if difficult. I know that you are also interested in Leona Granot, wife of Albert I. Young, who was an older brother of Walter Young. She and her husband, Victor, are also buried at this same cemetery. In addition, Leona and Albert's son, Ernest, is also buried here. I shall send you the picture I have of William Young and his 5 children soon. How are you related to our family?

Debbie, would you send me your writing of the story behind the Starr half heart head stones? I would like to use it for the memorials. Thanks Tony

|S Barger||RE: re: AB Coldwell Memorial# 93908484|
Sorry, I do not know if AB had an American Indian background. As I mentioned before, I was initially researching him in the context of migration patterns of some of the early settlers in Washington County, Arkansas. I have no other information on him. Good luck.

Well, if this person isn't sick or a "fallen graver" there isn't any excuse for not doing requests .
I've posted a lot more memorials and get maybe 3 requests a week, on average, and I tend to them the same day.
I realize not everyone has time for that, but 30 days is more than enough time.
I have a friend in NC that has posted over 50,000 memorials and isn't "overwhelmed" at all.
So, looks like pretty soon I'll be sending them all to findagrave!

I read your recent message left for the "contributor"
P Black-Avitts (#46910889)
If you read previous messages left for her you will see that she has not done any requests at all and not transferred any at all.
I have photographed several cemeteries recently and had quite a few requests for additions or corrections and of course none have been tended to.
After the 30 day waiting period Find A Grave would like provided, I plan to send them to email@example.com and have them tend to them.
I have sent two e mails to findagrave requesting that they check out her profile page and take note of her inactivity.
If you have requests that have been waiting 30 days you can send them to the link I just mentioned.

That area today was a wreck - drowned markers and grass a foot thick. It isn't always that way, thank goodness. Anyway - the other names are not around the area. If you have specific names, call 1-800-204-3131 and ask the office if they are at that cemetery. They're a little crabby, so use some tact - maybe ask for three at a time. OK - you're welcome for all.
