Hi jennie

thanks for catching that Joseph McCune was also added as his won father... not sure how Find A Grave allowed for that. I have another contributor who has been send me lengthy info on this family.

Thanks for posting the memorial for Annie Gismann. Are you a friend or family? I have access to a nice article written about her shortly before her death and am working as a volunteer on restoration of the cemetery where she is buried.

I am related to Emma by marriage. I am trying to get information on her husband, my relation, David Atchinson Guinn.

Henry Wild
Hi there,
You mentioned on Henry Wild's page that he left you quite a legacy. My husband is a direct descendant but we don't know much about him. Could you explain why you feel this way? Thank you!

Duplicates for George Fort and Mary Etta Jones Fort
Thank you for alerting me to my putting in duplicates. I have deleted the two I put in and contacted the manager for George's memorial that he/she can link George to his parents and sister.

I appreciate your help in avoiding duplicates.

RE: Barradall/Gaston
Dear Jennie:

With the busy holiday season, I really haven't been spending much time on genealogy. With that said, yes I would like you to transfer any and all the memorials which you have submitted in connection to (Ralph E. Gaston Jr. Memorial# 117917717); (Lelia Sanford Barradall Gaston Memorial# 117917999); (Dr. Alexander William McClean Memorial# 117913522).

If there are any others that I haven't mentioned and you have access to them, please transfer them as well.

Thank you for your time and excellent details given to my family memorials.

Just curious, are you related to any of these memorials?

Best regards,

My Hercules

Thank you for the nice words about my Hercules.
He certainly saved me. The days have not been the same without him. He was a loving friend right to his last day. I haven't been able to bring another dog into my home yet. Maybe soon.

Thanks again,

I would be deeply indebted, if you were willing to transfer management of subject Find-A-Grave memorials to me. They are the parents of my paternal grandmother, C. Louise (Freeman) Clark. Aunt Ethel (Freeman) Gonia would also be a bonus.

Henry C. Hanley

Thank you so much for writing! The story of how you identified the stone for Henry C. Hanley at Fee Fee Cemetery using the reverse side of one of your great-aunt's newspaper clippings is one of the best ever!!

I didn't think there was much chance in coming up with a name for my "Unknown Hanley" since all I had were his/her dates and the name of someone else on the other side of the stone, but you proved me wrong. Wow! What an amazing way to solve this mystery.

Does your great-aunt have a memorial on Find A Grave? I'd love to put some flowers on it if she does.

Thanks again,

Please update the birth date to April 1856.

The 1900 census in Levy County, Florida dated June 23, 1900, shows date of birth as April 1856, born in Georgia.

William/Granville Ferguson
Hi Jenny,
Do you happen to know the parents of Wm and Granville Ferguson? I am trying to tie them in with Samuel Ferguson but not sure if this is the right family.
BTW: Are you related to Big Boy Prevatt from Starke? I used to ride his horses when I was a little girl- my grandmother and later my parents lived across the road from him.

Hercules Jones
Hercules Jones is my 5X great grandfather on my father's side. I live in northwest Missouri and was wondering if he is actually buried in Caldwell County. I have found several other relatives of that part of my family at Prairie Ridge Cemetery in Polo, Mo and was wondering if he is there or somewhere close by.

Thank you for any information. Please email me at so I won't miss your message.

Yes, we are related, Joel and Hettie are my husband's great grandparents!

We have some family history, mostly what I've done.

We should compare notes! Are you related?

RE: Radious Merle Prevatt
It is not necessary, at this time, to transfer him to me. Thanks though! My brother-in-law and I are planning to come up and at least record all his family. That will cover a lot! Are you related to the Prevatts, Fears, Capps?
