RE: Adoption?
My Adoption Folder were headstones I found while looking for other Find A Grave requests. The names were the same surname but the original requester did not want those headstone photographs but for the original request. So now they are under my care until someone claims them.

I feel uncomfortable about supervising a headstone placement for someone I don't even know. Sorry.

RE: Re: Jane Gladys PAYNE
Okay; I was only asking because I walked the entire cemetery yesterday, but did not find a grave for a Jane Gladys PAYNE. However, there was one for a Gladys O[dell] PAYNE who died in 2009. Do you happen to know when Jane Gladys PAYNE died, how old she was or if she was married? Anything that might help to locate her would be appreciated. There were MANY unmarked graves or unreadable graves in the cemetery, so if she is not the same person, it may just be that she has an unmarked or unreadable gravestone.

George Lowery @ Zebulon
I have added dates to his and my other Lowery memorials at Zebulon as well as linked them. I don't quite understand that if there are no dates on the memorial that they would be "skipped over"? I never had anyone tell me that before.

RE: Nellie Harden
You have cleared up some of my confusion. Nellie's marriage license with Rupert said her name was Nellie Webb but that must have been her married name.
Rupert's brother Theo was my grandfather so he was my great uncle. Rupert Jr and my dad are very close. His wife of many years was Betty. She passed away last year and Junior remarried at the age of 80. I can't help but think he is like his father.

RE: Nellie May Harden
Thanks for the confirmation. Rupert was my great uncle and I manage his memorial. Now that I know I have the correct Nellie Harden, I can link her to Rupert as a spouse.

Nellie May Harden
Is is possible that Nellie was married to a man named Rupert Harden? He lived in Riviera Beach, FL and is buried at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. His second wife was named Nellie and they had 4 children. But he remarried for a 3rd time in 1941 and I thought that was because Nellie had passed away. Everything about this Nellie matches except the date of death so I'm not sure.

RE: Joseph Payne
Thanks. By head stone, do you mean a flat stone in the ground? Or do you mean you thought he had a separate stone just with his name on it? Just wondering because the vertical stone that is there with his name and his wife's name on it is what I usually call a "head stone".

I took a look at this and you are right. I thought maybe we had mis-read the date on the marker but I have the cem record book for Monroe Co and it has the same dates. Not sure how to fix this

RE: Olivers that moved to Brazil
That is great! I would be very interested in looking at it. I have had several people asking me for more info on their relatives because I created those memorials in Campo Cemetery. Perhaps there would be something I could pass on. Please e mail it over to me at swiitipi2004@aol.com. Thanks Kathy
