Hi, I transferred your aunt to you. It's better to have family take care of family. :)
You can use the photos only in your personal family files please. I would appreciate them not being added to sites like Ancestry and Heritage Quest. The information itself is no problem, but I have just had to many people "Burn" me on my photos.
If you have any questions just let me know.
Have a great day and I'm glad I am able to help someone.

|Albert Ledoux||Baltzer Conrad|
Just noticed your picture request for the stone of Baltzer Conrad in Newry, PA. The memorial page 114551823 says he d. 1851. The various public trees on Ancestry say 1850 or 1851, without explaining why. Is there absolute proof that this is when he died? Reason I ask is that I have been uploading cemetery pix for St. Patrick Cemetery and have one for a (broken stone) ... TZIER CONRAD who died at some point in 1845. (The month and day are gone with the broken stone.)
I have posted it on Findagrave at #154922991 Unfortunately, any age disappeared with the bottom part of the stone. That might have clinched it. Baltzer's wife looks like she's living with daughter Elizabeth in the 1850 census, but Baltzer isn't around.
Have a look at #154922991 and tell me what you think.

Why thank you for words of encouragement, Margaret...and you may certainly use picture per your description, but I want you to know I was intending to get another shot with sun-shifted view next time I go to Mount Calvary as I had a similar problem with another person's picture I attempted last week and figure if I find fault with my own pictures I should try again ~ :(

Hi, there is no cemetery office for this cemetery
I have tried to find an original record of the burials in this cemetery, but no one can find one. I have even gone to a few of the other cemetery offices around Altoona and asked if they would know how to get a hold of anyone associated with this cemetery. But, have not found anyone yet.
The Blair county Genealogical society had someone a few years back make a cemetery listing for this cemetery, but even that wasn't complete.
For about 5 years now I have been trying to document this cemetery and unfortunately have not found his stone.
I can say with almost 100% certainty that he either has no stone now or it is one that I have listed as Unknown because it can't be read anymore.
I have taken photos of every stone in that cemetery even if I couldn't read it trying to document the whole cemetery.
I will keep looking though when I go back to add the newer burials.
I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help.

Hi, I'm sorry there is no stone that has been found for him. I have gone through that cemetery for many years recording interments through the physical stone, death certificates and obits. But, I have yet to find his stone. Sorry

Please use the pic, I go thru old records, newspapers etc and when I find something esp about really old news I post incase a relative would like to have.......I also think I have the grave shots for them and will post in day or so when i can get five minutes to sit still.....no credit for photo is needed......I just put that on my page because I had some professional geneologists that were getting paid to do family trees using my stuff and I decided if they were being paid to look, then do the hunting themselves...insted of cheating the person paying them......hugs enjoy

Marion Ritchey is not in Calvary Cemetery, but in St. Joseph Cemetery. If you would like to delete him from Calvary and add him to St. Joseph, I will wait and add the photo. (or do you want me to add the photo before you transfer?).
St. Joseph is beside Grove Hill Cemetery in Oil City, after St. Joseph's, people were then buried in Calvary. Both are under the care of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Also buried in the same lot is: Jessie H. Ritchie 1878-1976; James H. Ritchie Sept.3, 1917-Dec. 30, 1985; Mary M. Ritchie 1903; Jessie C. Ritchie 1911. I have pictures for them as well.
