|Larry Rickert||Family Info Seaches|
Since my father was career USAF, I have done a lot of research on WWII in the Pacific, China, Berlin Air Lift, and Korea. After that he was in USAF Communications Security. Not much I can get there, even if I was in crypto maint.
At any rete, if there is anything in the military area where I can help, let me know. Esp. WWII.
Are you in the Hill County area?

|Linda Mullen||RE: Minnie Elmore|
Well right now, I am wondering that it might be two Minnie Elmores....a daughter and a mom...So as soon as I find out, I will then delete my entry. And send you the extra information and links to her parents. THere just seems to be a lot of confusion about this. The old headstones out there are so hard to read and dates are reversed sometimes...the 1920 might should be 1902? So I am not sure yet, till I see the headstone. 1920 would also be the right age to be her child ....
Keep you posted.

Russ, Bless you for finding my Zollicoffer Cemetery near Irene in Hill County. There were others living in Ellis County, like John Calvin Z and Oscar Mortimer Z in 1860 and 1870. Their mother, Abigale Nicholson Zollicoffer, is my ggg gm and supposedly died abt 1870-1880 in Ellis Co, but is unlocated. Her daughter, Amanda N. Zollicofer Sims died in 1876 and is buried with Nicholas P. Sims in Ellis Co. He funded the first Waxahachie Library from his estate in his will. If you could find her stone it would complete my Zollicoffer quest. The Sims were wealthy with beautiful stones. If Abigale Z. died living with them in the 1870s there should be a nice stone waiting to be recorded. I watch and care for about 215 cemeteries in Collin Co. with help from friends. Thanks for both your efforts.

Okay thanks. I am just trying to help preserve the history of the Gordon and Thornton families. I finally thought to look on the Freestone County Archives listing and saw where you probably got your information. Thanks for catching that they weren't posted. I need to go out there one day and just look around....but almost too hot these days.
Take care and God bless, Linda

The entry is correct and he does have his info on the headstone. Sorry about that. I misunderstood when I asked him where his wife was buried.

|Michael Edd Bonner||Cemeteries in Fairfield|
There are 3 cemeteries in Fairfield. Fairfield Baptist Cemetery and Fairfield Methodist are African-American. Fairfield Cemetery is not. I realize this is somewhat confusing as they adjoin and fences no longer separate them.

|AWard Jr||Correct Birth or Locate Headstone|
Please advise how you came by your entry for Find-A-Grave memorial # 97319269. We the family believe the Birth Year to be incorrect; we offer 1847 instead. If you took this information directly from the headstone, then we understand. Please take a picture of this headstone if possible.
Thank you in advance for your soonest reply and assistance.

|Kay||RE: Rocky Branch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery|
I didn't create this cemetery someone added it but did not add any burials. You can add the cemetery picture to the page, it should have a button showing for that. I have been curious to know what it looks like. The location is added using the cemetery fix forum. I don't see a way to add it to the page. I never done that, you can submit the location. If you want me to do it I will. I you can't add the picture I will do that also. I have added my e-mail back to my profile. Thanks so much for the pictures.Let me hear from you.
