Thomas Sena Sr & Jr

I just fulfilled your photo request for Thomas Sena Sr at SFNC. Would you like me to add a photo of the updated headstone to Thomas Jr as well?

RE: Charles Dofflemyer
Also, If you want to e-mail me names and death dates of who else you think might be there, I can ask to look through the "big book" - the old handwritten (and very damaged) compliation of hand written burial records. Sometimes things turn up in there that never made it into the modern files. It is arranged (more or less) by date, with no name index, so the dates are crucial for that to be a possibility.

RE: Charles Dofflemyer
You are very welcome. Judging from the dates, the office suspects they would be in "Section Z" which is the old area right beside the church. Would you like me to take a picture of the section on my next trip and add it to his memorial? I also checked the burial books for Old Fairview Cemetery, just down the road, with no Dofflemyers listed there. And I added a photo to the one Dofflemyer that didn't have a photo of the 4 in Santa Fe National. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Feliciana Dofflemyer Carrillo
I have transferred Feliciana to you. I have not seen any other Dofflemyer headstones yet, but I will keep an eye out as I work. I'm currently focused on sections D and E at Rosario. Unfortunately, there are a lot of unmarked graves in the two older sections (Section Z and Old Cemetery)because the original markers were frequently wooden. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Regards, Sidney

I did that yesterday and have the write up of the day he died and his obit. He killed himself. Would you like them? The front page write-up is not fit for Find A Grave but his obit would be. Yes, I notice the others have one "o". Linda

I can go back and look. I was going back today but Friday I can. Who should I look for? Do you know how he died?

RE: Manuel Montoya site pic
They told me very similar for Felix Sena who died in 1926...even fewer records for then, and they surmise that he's in Section Z near where many Senas are buried together, plus it's the oldest section and fits his year of death. I did add a memorial and picture for Augustina Sena I found there and can add an "area" picture...large shade tree in center...for Felix if you like, but he is unmarked and cannot be pinpointed. Sorry, but have grown to not be surprised when offices (when available) for older cemeteries/sections come up with blanks.

I went to town hall and I looked for the plot at the cemetery. He is in the Padilla section of the cemetery which is the section that the graves were moved from different locations throughout the county and in the city.

Most graves are unmarked and reflect this.

I have a copy of the cemetery record for you.

Please contact me at: and I will be happy to send the cemetery record to you.

That is too funny!! Crazy things like that happen to me all the time, so I'm honored to be your "spooky" story. ha ha ha! Did your wife's aunt happen to mention what brought Perry out west? I've been curious ever since I added him into my family tree.
