JOY RIGGERS
Brittany American Cemetery
hi
I am the one who fulfilled your wish for the photo of relative tombstone. My dad is 92 also. anyways, I was asked if your family would like to receive letter from students at a school near the cemetery. St. James, France students have a project starting soon for writing Americans of the fallen soldiers families. In addition to the letter writing, they are planning to sing both countries National Athem and stand by each grave during the Memorial Day Ceremony next May 2014. I hope to go but my parents are getting up in the years as if I want to be that far away from home.
If any of your family members are interested, please send email or home address and I will forward to the supertinent.
Thank you and Happy Holidays to all,

JOY

You can write to ABMC.gov and get a free picture of the cemetery. Tell the family, I have been there and it is so beautiful and quiet countryside in a small quaint town. My uncle is there and my dad is 91 with a brother who was in 101st airborne and is 89. Your uncle is resting so peaceful now and believe the Frence really appreciate US liberating France otherwise they say...that they would be speaking German. checkout on Youtube for Hidden Admiration --second trailer and meet my uncles and me. it is a documentary in the works. God Bless
