RE: Russell C. Neu Sr
Hello, Travis. Many thanks for posting the grave marker photo for Russell Neu Sr. Please tell me your conncection to Russell Neu. I presume you know that he served in the 487th Bomb Group during WWII. He was bombardier on the crew of William J. Waldron. The crew was shot down near, Liege, Belgium, on December 24, 1944. Lt Neu and two of his crew mates bailed out and survived. Six members of the crew were killed in action.

Thanks for the prompt service; I just submitted that Sunday afternoon. The Martins were the parents of a good friend of mine. He is not too good with computers even though Rolla gave him two engineering degrees. II appreciate your help!

It's beautiful! Thank you so much. He was in the 58th Seabees, as was my dad. They were in the Admiralty Islands, Guadalcanal and the final battle at Okinawa. The lease we can do is have their headstones with their memorials. Thank you...

G W Gardner at Jefferson Barracks
Travis, thanks so much for taking the photo of the grave of George W. Gardner at Jefferson Barracks. I see that his stone is marked Michigan, so that solves a puzzle for me. The one that I am looking for was in an Ohio regiment and must actually be buried in Congress, Wayne Co OH, where there is a stone for him. The Roll of Honor said that he was buried at Jefferson Barracks. The soldier buried there by the same name was in Co C of the 12th Michigan Infantry. Thanks for helping me solve the mystery.
