# 23733984 Oscar Carlson
Hi Julie,
I found Oscar's obituary in my grandmother's scrapbook. Oscar was the policeman in my hometown of Kenmare, ND for many years. I'd very much appreciate it, if you would add his obituary to his memorial. He was a wonderful man, with a wonderful story. I'll send it on the SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS link.
Best regards,
Nancy Zeltinger Austin - contributor #47321269

Please remove the wrong picture from Oscar Kellberg's memorial #24403349. The correct picture is on his wife's memorial #90379693.

Hi Julie - I am catching up on old emails I have missed. You sent an update request for this memorial where you found I had added a duplicate in another cemetery. I musta goofed - good catch. I removed both memorials associated with this stone. Thanks!

RE: Emma Knearl & John Lessing
Yes, the stones are kind of unique. Those inlaid plaques are just as sharp and defined as when they were made, no corrosion, moss or mold, nice green tint. The stone size is roughly 12 inches high.

Julie, Just wanted to say thanks for all you do for others through Find A Grave. I no longer can visit cemeteries because of age and health and I am sure there are many just like me. It means so much to be able to visit through Find A Grave and see family connections markers and cemeteries. I hope you do not mind my using copies of your photos on my family files on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker. I am trying to get as much family info as I can on my files so that my descendants and others connected can see their heritage. I am fast running out of time. I have traveled this genealogy trail since the 1980's and I still need to go a long way but I am sure the Lord has a plan also. May God bless you in your helping others through Find A Grave.

RE: mendenhall cemetery
The problem is she had them in the Onaway Cemetery and they were very incomplete and I don't intend to undo my work and all the history I have uncovered.

Added by Anne Bell on Jun 21, 2015 2:45 PM

wouldn't you think people would check before making memorials. Plus the photo contributor should place the gravestone photo on the memorial made first. ??? Can you imagine the thousands of requests to merge duplicates findagrave admin must get?!! oh my. sorry they haven't been fixed by now. thanks

mendenhall cemetery
You have taken the Onaway Cemetery and put all on the Mendenhall Cemetery. When I listed my burial records there were not any I created in the cemetery so unless you are related I am not going to delete them. I will transfer any to relatives. I put a lot of research and work on the ones I created.

Charles Ellis
Hi Julie,

I believe Charles is linked to his correct father, Eleazer, who died in 1882. Charles was born in 1836 in Sandwich and lived either in Sandwich or Barnstable his whole life (according to Vital Records and Census records). His father Eleazer was born in Plymouth and lived his life in Sandwich or Barnstable. Also, they are both buried in the same cemetery. You seem to be referring to an Ebenezer who lived in Harwich and Chatham for all of his life.
