RE: mason county cemeteries
Pick one and go out...Rick has visited probably every cemetery in the county working on his genealogy, but many of his photos go unposted while he continues to take photos.

Meanwhile people are waiting for photos. As far as I know many of the cemeteries north of town are undone. I would do a Mason County Cemetery look up and pick one that is not done. I started doing photo requests and found it easier to photograph the entire cemetery than to look through a thousand graves for one. I began in Custer where I go to church, then hit Scottville where my father in law was then hit Riverton and Eden as I lived there. Being as the Cemetery south of Branch had so many requests, I went there. I think I have all of them south of town.
I am a bit handicapped so I am not going any further than Rickey. I wish I had more energy but I can't.

by the way
I just moved to Ludington last fall after living south of Scottville and Custer most of my life. Which is why my main photographic focus has been Scottville and Custer area. I started the Rickey last summer and am gonna try to finish it this year. Rick Gouin has been working all over, but right now's focus has been P.M. Cemetery as it is by his house. He has been working on the monumental task of doing Lakeview Cemetery. It is huge!!!

RE: your 3x times great grandfather
I have not heard of the Wood County Historical Society. I've checked Rutherford B. Hayes, but no luck. Epprenetus's father, Thomas is in there, but not his son, who I am guessing died in Michigan and I can find nothing in Michigan records of his death. Thank You for the hint, I'll check it out. Sandi

Do you live near what is called the "firelands" of Ohio? I am trying to track down my 3X great grandfather's grave. He was living in Michigan at the time of his birth but I think his body was taken to be buried back in the Peru - firelands area.

duplicate memorials
Hi, Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate memorials. We work too hard to get this right to get it wrong. Sandi

The burial of Frank is very confusing to our family. There are Mother and Father Stones for Truman and Clarrisa on their memorials on this site. My understanding is that Frank kind of left his family and wife Ella. When he died, The body was claimed by his son William "Howard" Rundell who handled the funeral arrangements through Hyatt Ewald FH in Oct 1952 and buried him in this cemetary. Now one seems to know about a marker except that they may not have even been one. He could be the "Father" if it is different from Truman's. The mother if different would not be Ella's stone though.

RE: Clarence Cooper
I don't have a photo, but on each memorial page at the top you can request a photo for volunteers to take. We generally try to get to those ASAP (or as soon as the snow melts around here).
