Contact the City of Chase City at the Town Hall. I think they are the record keeper for Woodland Cem. Most of the cemeteries that are "town" cemeteries are managed and maintained by the town halls.
The other item, is that now that VA death certs are being scaned by the VA State Archives, you might write to them and get copies of their death certs. That should tell you where they are buried and/or the name of the funeral home that buried them. If the funeral home is still in business, that is a great place to begin. Sometimes if a funeral home went out of business, they left the old records with the new owners. Sometimes they went to the State Archives etc.

I don't remember, but that cemetery is huge, so send a request and the next time I am over there, I will look for them. They are probably there, I just did not make the connection because there were 21 requests that I was trying to fill in that cemetery.

I was scanning photo requests in my area again and saw yours for Edith Hylton in the Willis Cemetery. I noted that someone else had attempted to fulfill that request and reported that there are two listings for Edith in the Willis Cemetery. This one: Find A Grave Memorial# 9907544 has a photo of her stone attached already. Will that suffice or do you still want to keep your request open?

I hope I have the right photo for Daniel Hylton. I do think the year of death at least is rather clear and also that Hylton was on top part of stone and Daniel Peter below. Thanks for your request that got me back to working on Keith cemetery.
