Friendship Cemetery, Forsyth Co., GA
Hi Gail,

If you visit US GenWeb and go to Georgia, and then Forsyth Co., GA there is a transcription of the cemetery there and the person who posted it should be on the page for the cemetery. If you don't find it, let me know and I'll try going through emails and see if I can find her again.

Hi Gail,

I did not survey the cemetery myself. I used an existing transcription with the permission of the person who posted it online. Sorry I could not be of more help to you on the exact location of the grave.

RE: Hopewell cemetery
After looking at this, I have moved him to the Hopewell Cemetery in Tyrone, which is 8 miles from Fairburn. After Googling it, I couldn't find anything about a Hopewell near Fairburn, might ask the other contributors on the memorials there. I've also requested a photo, which will be verification that he is in Tyrone. Thanks for asking!

RE: cemetery location
Gail, Caron and Benjamin are also my grt.grt.grandparents. The Hopewell Cemetery is in Fairburn, Fulton County, Ga. Caron is only buried there. Benjamin left right after the 1850 US Census on board the USS Steamship General Warren going to the gold rush in Calif. He got sick and died on board and was buried in the Gulf of Mexico according to the ship passenger list. The date is Oct. 9, 1850. Ship captains could not spell very good so he is listed as Nesterly Castlebrey of Georgia, age 33, but it is him. My grandfather, Wesley Benjamin Castleberry (named after him) told us he died on a ship and was buried at sea. The age is a little off but that is certainly not unusual in these old records, especially the US Census. The picture of Caron on her memorial was furnished by another grt.grt.granddaughter, Carole Lundquist. Carole is grt.granddaughter of Thomas Odum Castleberry. I have much more info on our family if you are interested. My email is
