Elsie Castle Rasmussen
First, thank you so much for your contributions to Find-a-Grave.
I was excited to see your picture of the tombstone of Elsie Castle Rasmussen who died in 2002. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to a) determine if she had children, and b) who and where they were. I've been unable to find her obituary which might answer those questions. But I was excited to see in your photo of the tombstone that it had "Mother" on it, so that answered one of my questions--she DID have children. So I'll try to think of some way to find them.
Thank you!

RE: Raymond G. Healy
I've finally discovered the burial place of Raymond G Healy - he is in Mountain View Memorial Park, not the Masonic Cemetery! I've deleted the memorial made for the Masonic cemetery.

Would you like to have Freddie's memorial? Seeing as he was a long time friend, I believe you would take care of his memorial as it should be.
Let me know, I have not made any changes at this moment.

Ira (Leland) Light
Great, I will try to contact the county for confirmation that Leland is Briska and Ira Delos Light's son and ask for a link up if indeed it does turn out to be their son (although I imagine he would be listed in the Light bible); and, thanks about the Ira Kenneth Light Jr. photo!

More Briska (Serfling) Light
Hi, that is the census to which I referred. That is Briska and her husband Ira Delos(s) Light and their son "Ira L. Light." The son does not show up on any subsequent censuses and, since his approximate birth date matches with that of the "Leland" in the Light Cemetery plot (who died at about 2 or 3 years old), I am wondering if this "Ira L. Light" on the census is the "Leland Light" (Leland being his middle name?)in the cemetery - because I found no other reference for a Leland Light or Ira L. Light born at the same time.

Briska (Serfling) Light
Hey, thanks for contacting me, I was meaning to message you. Wow. She does not want to talk about Briska? I thought she had the family bible? Poor Briska, what did they do? Cross her name out of the bible? So sad. Anyway, I did note that there is a Leland that died in the mid-1880's at about 3 years of age in that same cemetery where Ira, Sr., is buried and I am wondering if this could be the "Ira L. Light" that is on the mid-1880's census as Ira and Briska's son but that disappears. Poor little guy, even if he is not their son it would be nice to link him up with his parents. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the photos of the Miner family. I appreciate them and your offer to transfer them to me. They are all related in some way to me, and I do have some bio and family info I can add so I would appreciate the transfers. I will ask for them individually to make it easier for you.
Thanks again for all your help.

RE: Stephen and Sophia Zender
Dear JLB,

I've only communicated via email with Liane and Kathy, so I did not know about Mt. View, but am glad to hear it will be done as well. I have a lot of relatives and other families I work on there. Two other cemeteries I'd like to see done are Tacoma Cemetery and New Tacoma Cemetery in University Place.

My husband and I would like to meet you sometime. We live in the area so if you send me a message through regular email (not Find A Grave), I'll give you my phone number and we can set up a time. Last night, I told my husband about your message about Steve and Sophia Zehnder, then called their granddaughter and told her about their memorial being covered up. Needless to say, she was surprised.

RE: Stephen and Sophia Zender
Dear JLB,

Thank you so much for taking being tenacious and finding the stone. You've gone well beyond the call on this one. One has to wonder how many other footstones are covered up.

Liane and Kathy did a fabulous job of going through the cemetery and cataloging all the headstones, building memorials, taking photos and uploading them. Last summer there were only about 3,400 Find A Grave memorials in Calvary. There are now close to 28,000. That was a huge undertaking in such a short time. I think Calvary records are on paper, not computer. Out of curiosity, did you inform the office about Sophie and Stephen's headstone and tell them where it really is?

I'm not deleing any photos from their memorials, but if you'd provide me with the correct plot numbers, I'll add that info.

Sgt. Robert Larsen - Mtn. View
You fulfilled my photo request last month for Sgt. Larsen #101808407 but after further research, I don't believe his mother is there in the same lot, so I deleted the record.

Thanks for the photo!
