You're welcome. As I mentioned it was hard because of the way the sun hit the stone, which is probably why her name is worn down. Glad they'll work.

Hi, went to the cemetery today and tried for better, clearer pictures. Think I was able to get a couple that I will add and you can check them out. It's kind of hard to get a good shot of top and side because of the sun, but hopefully one of them will work for you.

RE: Almy Sherman
OK. I believe the spelling is correct, that would explain the space between the A and MY

First let me say that when I see a photo request for Carol Brown, it's a little disconcerting since I didn't make it. Second, you can see AMY on top of the stone, I just cropped it and added it, didn't mean for it to remove your request. So you can make another if you want.

Benjamin Parker ( Bemus Point Cemetery)
Dear Carol,
I recently discovered this website ads searched my ancestors. The entry for my 4th great Grandfather, Benjamin Parker ( died 1842), in Bemus Point, NY has a picture that was submitted by you. Can you please tell me where the picture/drawing came from?
Thank you ,
Rebecca (Parker) Rowehl

Elizabeth Hager
With regards to Elizabeth Hager, she is actually buried in the older part of this cemetery which is Saint Paul's UCC Cemetery. Buried beside her is Anna Hager, who's headstone states she is also the wife of Heinrich Hager, also buried in Saint Paul's but not in the same row as Elizabeth and Anna. Could Anna be the second wife of Heinrich?

RE: Sherman Graves
You're welcome! I know how important it is to find the graves of your loved ones. I am still trying to find my great grandfather. Just to let you know that Abraham, Almy, Abraham Jr and Maryette are all together in 1 row.

Scott Hager
Nelson Hager
Hi Carol, I was hoping you may be able to help me out. The grave of Nelson Hager (New Milford Cemetery) appears to have his age at death as 83. This would make his birth c. 1794 and not 1814. Have I read this age 83 correctly? Also, a brief bio on this site says his father was Daniel Hager. Did this info come from cemetery records? The reason I ask is that there are 2 Daniel Hagers that could possibly be his father and Nelson's birth would all but confirm which one. Also, if his father's name did, indeed, come from cemetery records, then I could be pretty assured that his father's name was Daniel.

Thanks, Scott Hager

CORWIN/WELLS families of Orange, NY
Hi Carol,

I'm a descendant of Deborah (Wells) CORWIN, for whom you created a memorial page. Thank you so much for doing it! I am wondering if you happen to know the burial location of Deborah's husband, David CORWIN, who died in the same area between 1776-1780. According to another researcher, he is buried in Middletown, Orange, NY, so the logical guess is that he is buried in the same Wallkill Cemetery as his wife. Do you know anything about this? Her flat tombstone looks overgrown, perhaps his marker is completely covered nearby? Thanks for whatever assistance you can provide!

Find-A-Grave Guidelines Transfer Request , should be made for Direct relatives, within 4 generations, this would be Siblings, Parents, Grandparents & Great-Grandparents.
If you have any information you want to add to a memorial. I will gladly do so.
Also you might consider setting up a Virtual Cemetery, for your family members.
