I'm afraid I'm unable to help you much as I don't live in the area of the headstone. I took the image when I was traveling through Merrill. If you should discover that it is in error, please let me know and I will delete it.

Dee, there seems to be some confusion about Alida's maiden name. Jensen, Seaquist Anderson all show up in one place or another. She is buried next to Effie and Henry Anderson in Lot 69 of the original section at Little Sister. She and they are not listed in the Liberty Grove database but do show up in the Pen. Gen. Society database for Little

There are only about 20 graves in the cemetery. I'm sure there were others as I seen where there might have been other stones. Unfortunately they are no long there maybe because of the weather. I can try to find who tends the cemetery and ses if they are listed. Please give me a few days as I have a very busy schedule. thank you for helping with Find-a-grave.

Hi Dee, Brooksville does not have them listed either. There was another person who attempted to locate them and could not, but did leave notes on the request. Best of luck to you in your search, sorry I could not have been more helpful. Betsi

I would love to contact your friend from Door county, however I'm unsure of how to search for a grave contributor on Find-a-Grave using their contributor number. If you could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful! :) (I've tried the 'Help' area, but it's proven most unhelpful in this regard-LOL)
As to Mrs. Benjamin Baptist...there were actually 2 of them. The first is Maria King, her info has been added and she is buried in Bayside. His 2nd wife is Ellen Pennock, #158834583 - I've added her to Schumacher Cemetery, where she is buried.
Again, thank you so much!

Hi Dee, I went out to Brooksville but was unable to locate the Schallers. According to the plot map, there is a plot 439 however that part of block K has no one buried there yet. I will call the office during the week to see if they have record. Stay tuned, Betsi

Hi Dee, I contacted Florida Hills because the plot you listed does not look like one of theirs, and as suspected, they do not have any record of John and Grace there. The Plot number looks more like one from Brooksville Cemetery (Block K, Plot 439). I will run out that way this weekend to see if I can find them in that cemetery. Stay tuned! Betsi

Hello! Thank you so much! I have been trying to find an obituary for her for so long, I forget that in the case of women the old newspapers often only list the spouse's name.
Perhaps they moved her from Bayside to Schumacher at some point? Sometimes they do that without making a note, since quite a few of her relatives are buried there as well.
Or it was just an error. For instance, her son, William S Baptist died in 1901 (as mentioned in her obit) but his tombstone says 1900. I think there was quite a lot of errors made back then.
Anywhoo, thank you very much for posting this! Are you a relative, by any chance?
