RE: mr bennett
Thank you so much James! I truly appreciate that. I created Aunt Audrey's VM before I realized someone already had. So I'll delete mine.

Thank You
Hi James,

Thank you for creating a memorial for my great-Aunt Audrey! Before I found the one you created, I also created one myself. I guess there's been some confusion about the spelling of the last name. All of her brothers spell it as "Renfroe" and I assumed she did as well, but possibly not. I've requested a photo of her resting place. Hopefully, I can determine which version she preferred from that. Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS!

Panola County Gal
Hi James,
I got those transfers made. I will glady transfer most memorials but there is an easier way for both of us. Go to the memorial you want. Click the EDIT tab on the upper right (just above the picture. Click Suggest any other correction or addition. Just fill it in saying you wish a transfer. This provides links automatically and shows me your member number too. It works great.

RE: Roundtree
Thank you so much for looking for the Roundtree grave,James. It is very interesting about the mass grave in Canton. I'll have to research this more.
If you ever need help in Texas please let me know.

RE: Arthur Kehle Strong
Did you know his parents? I think I have them correct by the 1930 Census.

RE: Arthur Kehle Strong
Thanks James, I will transfer to you if you want. I did not know him, however I do have a "special" feeling for all I add to Find A Grave.

Goshen Springs/Pigeon Branch
Hi James

If Goshen Springs is AKA Pigeon Branch or vice-versa you should post a note in the Cemetery fix thread with a link to the cemetery and ask them to change it. Only an admin can change or edit the name of a cemetery. Thanks!

RE: Magruder
If it's the memorial of John Hawkins Magruder that you're talking about (), the pic(s) on that memorial are incorrect (they're pics of John Archibald Magruder's grave, #20362140).

Magruder @ Sharon Cemetery
I think what happened was that another contributor put an incorrect photo on a memorial, and he has since claimed the more recent photo request and fulfilled/fixed it.

James thank you so much for not only looking up my ancestor but going out finding him and the family, but to list them photo them and then transfer them to me. That is way above and beyond, I can't thank you enough if I can ever do anything over this way just ask, and just so you know I have this thing about touching the stones myself, I will be over sometime and I owe you a cup of coffee at the very least.

RE: Patrick Ian Hamblin
I usually don't transfer except to direct descendants/ancestors. However, I will make an exception in this case.

Pamela Lewellyn Strickland
RE: chandler
Hi. Yes! I am related to the chandlers through one of my great grandmothers on my father's side. My grandmother was Audrey Louise Savage (married to Joseph W Lewellyn). Audrey's parents (my great grandparents) were Flavious Joseph Savage and LUCY ADALAIDE "ADDIE" CHANDLER. Addie was daughter of JAMES LOUIS CHANDLER. Unless I've taken a wrong turn somewhere along the way, I've traced back 9 more generations of Chandlers to my 11th G-grandfather - with lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins documented along the way. The recent generations of Chandlers are mostly from Mississippi and Arkansas, so it could be the same Chandlers!

Thanks. I just listed them because I just found out where they were buried. No rush, as I am spending the next week pouring over the Johnstone history from the History of the Johnstones of Annandale by Hugh Miller Thompson II.

RE: Paul Whitaker
I'm still trying to trace his tree and most likely they are related.

The story is my great grandfather was born William Isaac Whitaker, he was married to a woman in Alabama and one day he just got up and left without a word.. He just disappeared.

He changed his name several times during this
time frame and Paul was the last name he used. He remarried someone else and I think it was a woman named Floy in Mississippi.

I'm told many years later he showed up to see his family back in Alabama once more..I'm sure they had assumed he was dead so you can imagine the surprise..

Anyways THANK YOU so much and I'll create the memorials, as I am sure they are in some way related. and update as I retrieve more facts.

Ed Burkett
FAG Memorial for Walter Carl Cummins

I think you have the date of death wrong for Walter Carl Cummins. His obituary says he died April 23, 2013, and you show Mar 23, 2013 instead.
