|amwj1||RE: 80910807 Alma Silliman|
Hi, you are moving so speedily on this. Thank you! I MIGHT re-request the photo in a few months. I appreciate having this photo at the very least. It took some time for me to figure out who Alma Silliman was. I found her on a census and another senior woman on the 1860 census living with John Nichols and his wife. I assumed that these two women might be widowed relations - mothers of John and Betsey. My mom's mother's maiden name was Nichols and I have been trying to trace that name. Thankfully, Wakeman is an unusual first name, so once I found Wakeman and Alma (and variations thereof) it helped me to find a few things. A few minutes ago, I found where someone had posted a baptism source for Wakeman. Every day brings the possibility of more clues! Thank you for helping me.

THANK YOU for posting the photo for Wakeman AND Alma Silliman today!! I see that a number of Sillimans lived in that area - the origins were Connecticut. Wish I knew more...maybe I will someday. Thank you, again.

|amwj1||80910807 Alma Silliman|
THANK YOU for the photo of the Alma Silliman gravestone. It is hard to read some of the inscription because of the lighting and the age of the stone. But, I really appreciate the photo. Is that a military marker in front of it? It is sideways so I couldn't tell. Also....please,could you also post the photo on Wakeman Silliman's Memorial# 80910806? Since the gravestone has both of their names, it would be nice to have the photo on both of their memorial pages. I will try to contact the originator to see about linking Alma and Wakeman. These are ancestors of my mother and I wish she had lived long enough to learn what I have found for her in this family line!
