RE: George W Welch
Good afternoon Debbie,

Thank you for creating a new memorial for George W Welch. I have not idea what could have happened to his memorial. Thank you for your patience and enjoy the end of the summer season.

Jeff

Good morning Debra,

I do not know what happened to the photograph of the headstone of George W Welch. I clicked on the button to request a photo. One of the volunteers will share a photo in the near future.

Thank you,
Jeff

You may copy away. It was my pleasure to post the photo. It was taken by a member of the Scioto County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society in Portsmouth. They were inventorying the graves and then the photos were given to me for posting to findagrave. So, please do copy and share. Where would we genealogists be without random acts of genealogical kindness.

Greg R
RE: Oscar Zielicke Grave
Yes your very welcome. Just last month I did photos for which is probably relatives of Oscar Zielicke, There names are Christiane (Schmidt) Zielicke and Johann Friedrich Sr. buried in same area. Because of this I knew right away to check if Oscar was there too, and he was. The contributor requesting those photos is the one that created the Zion German Baptist church cemetery in Fond Du Lac county. The whole explanation of the mix up is on that cemetery site. I have also visited the original listed cemetery Albright United Brethren cemetery in Washington County. This one was hard to tell from the road that it was a cemetery. Grass was cut around trees and piles of brush once you walked in there and markers were in mostly bad condition, except for one,it brought a tear for the neglect. The original foundation of cement and field stone of the church is still present. The Zion German Baptist cemetery is a little better. But same senerio ,Which was once a church and cemetery is now just a old neglected cemetery.
Yes I can send a pic of self but not until allergy season is over, hope you understand. If there's anything else , please let me know, I will get back to you.
Sincerely Greger.
