Artemus Ryan
Hi, I am hoping to find more information on the infant Artemus Ryan buried at Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery. He lived from June to July 1842.
From a Bible record, I know his parents were George "Wesley" Ryan b. 1814, Ross Co., OH and Mary "Sidney" Sturgeon b. 1820, Fayette Co., OH.
They moved a couple of years after Artemus' death to Wells Co.,IN and are both buried at the Poe Cemetery in Allen Co.,IN.
I am a descendant of their son Marcellus Allen Ryan. I found Sidney's family: Briggs and Sturgeon, buried at the Concord Presbyterian Cem.
I do not know who Wesley's parents were. Do the church records have any family information? Is there a grave stone for Artemus? If so, does it say anything? Thank you very much, Luann Ryan Heald

Thomas Lawhead
Hello!

I see that you have Thomas Lawhead #67435297 in your cemetery. I would like to link his first wife Mary, who died in 1833 to him. Mary is buried in the Dean Cemetery, in Buckskin Township. I just wanted to let you know about this before I went ahead and did it, as you are the manager of Thomas' memorial.

Thanks so much!

Nixon
Hello, I noticed that you have Elihu Nixon resting in your grounds. I understand he is the great uncle of President Nixon. Do you happen to have any information on his brother that would be the grandfather of the President. I am also in Ohio and will be making a trip down there to visit this summer. Thank you for any info you may have.

RE: Barbara Fisher
Thank you so much. I am also impressed that you found the tombstones for John Fisher (oldest son of Jacob and Barbara Fisher) and wife Phoebe, I didn't probe the ground for them. About 35 or so years ago, I went there with my grandmother, a gr grand-daughter of Jacob and Barbara A.Fisher , and the entire row containing the gravestones for John and Phoebe Fisher and their children was intact with their stones as well as for the Briggs family. Phoebe was a "Briggs" before marrying John Fisher. Five years ago when I visited Concord the entire row had vanished; and I though lost forever until I saw your pictures of the tombstones for John and Phoebe Fisher. I need to visit again and "probe" to see if some of my missing Fisher stones are there. All the Fisher people buried at Concord are descendants of Barbara A. and Jacob Fisher. Again, thank you so much. I'll keep in touch. Ann
