You're welcome. I plan on going back for the other one this winter. The cemetery is overgrown and looked snakie and had several overturned markers.

I copied down the inscription on the tombstone as it was VERY close to the iron fencing. If you cannot read it all, let me know. I did not know if you wanted me to post it also.

The person that added the photo has had a request to delete the headstone but has not done it. Do you know how to delete someone else's photo? I would like to remove it. The only way I know how to do it is delete the memorial & set up a new one.

I am hoping that with your surname being Lawrence, you are related to the Pulaski Lawrence you have a memorial for and can answer a question...
My great-great-great- grandfather was William C Lawrence who was married to Mary Lemmons. Their daughter, Emma Beatrice Lawrence is my great-great grandmother.
I've come across info that says Pulaski had a son named William C Lawrence, but I can't definitely connect Pulaski to my William C Lawrence.
Are you able to tell me if these two William C's are the same???

|TLH||RE: Robert & Jewell Martin photo requests|
Sorry about the cemetery mix up:
Sparkman Hillcrest (also managed by Dignity, Same as Grove Hill) They do not give findagrave volunteers burial locations but if you call they should give it to you.
Their number is 214 363 5401.
Volunteers are standing by to fill requests with locations. Notice the commentary on the page for the cemetery as to them not cooperating with findagrave volunteers. That's why there are 89 photo requests still open.

|TLH||Robert & Jewell Martin photo requests|
I would be happy to fill your photo request, however, can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial locations for your request: 214-381-7118
There are over 89 photo requests and the volunteers can not ask for that many locations.
Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery will not cooperate with findagrave volunteers.

|Larry E-K||Ryle Graves|
Last week I tried to photograph the Ryle graves you requested. The information you added to the site was incorrect. I called the cemetery and they told me they are buried in "Fountain 1, Plot 61, graves 1 & 2". I tried again today and the grounds staff could not find them.
I will be glad to photo the graves, but I need the location

The graveyard association contacted me. They do not have a list of people buried at Merrimack Cemetery. They did however pass my number onto another woman in search of a list. If she comes up with anything or contacts me, I will let you know.

I went to the grave yard today. But did not find Howard. There are about 4 small graves that are unmarked and at least 6 others that can't be read. Next week I will try to find someone that might know who is buried where. No other Pattersons in the graveyard. The yard is well maintained so I am hoping someone will know something.

|Al Haxton||Howard Patterson|
I guess you pulled the request for Howard. Just to let you know per the director of Cemeteries for Huntsville, there is no Howard Patterson listed in the book for Merrimack Cemetery. I also walked the whole cemetery and found no Patterson headstone. Merrimack Cemetery is in very poor condition except for someone mowing it.
