RE: Darrinton Rhoads
Cindy,

I live in Huntsville, Alabama, about 6 hours away from the cemetery. Don't talk to me about gas/time. I make trips down there four times a year to check on my grandparents graves and visit with the last remaining Aunt in Vicksburg.
The photo's that I requested you to remove are those memorials of my grandmother/grandfather and the infant uncle that I never saw. Many more family members are in the cemetery to include my Aunt/Uncle and great grandparents on both my grandmother's family and my grandfather's mother's side of the family. My own mother will be buried in that elementary.
Asking you to remove them should not be an insult or taken that way, but there are other ways to rid unwanted photos from these three memorials.
I'll forward your answer to Find a Grave and let it rest in their hands.
Susan

RE: Laura G Tigue
I had gotten in touch with the people over the cemetery that I needed to take photos, so they must have cleaned up the area. I was expecting to have to clear away some over growth from your pictures. Whomever is keeping the cemetery up now, they are doing an excellent job.

Cindy can you tell me anything about Maudie Musselwhite. Is this the sister of Luther Musselwhite.

If so is there any family members of Luther still around in the Tallahatchie area that I can talk to.

I am looking at doing a documentary on Luther Musselwhite and would like to talk to some of the family up there about what Luther was like and if they have any pictures of the families. I haven't done very well at tracking Luther's parents. They show up in the 1920 census and Modie (Mauldie) is the older daughter of Luther.

Any information you have or some people you can refer me to will be lots of help.

Email me at Dale.Tice@wtok.com.

Thanks

duplicate pictures
Cindy,

I'm just getting around to requesting the removal of more memorial pictures that I took myself when I traveled down to Mississippi.
If you can remove the picture off the following as I have the picture that I took two weeks ago now posted.
85978181
85978219
85978263
My shot of Larry's (85996114)grave marker came out blurry. If you are up that way and can take another shot that would be nice, otherwise, I rather both shots to remain on his page.
Thank you~

Cindy,

I have traveled down to Mississippi this week to take pictures of all family members that I maintain.
I was able to get a real good picture of my aunt's marker so that the Hummingbird showed up really well.
Please remove your picture on my aunt's memorial page # 85978344
Thank you

RE: Holman/Pioneer Cemetery
Cindy,

Thanks for your response. Do you have contact information for Dr. Carroll's son, his name, address and a phone number? I would like to talk with him and get permission to look over the property. The lake land and land to the east of the lake was owned by my Holman ancestors in the mid 1800s and I would like to look for any unmarked cemeteries. My 3x great grandfather died in 1855 and we don't know where he is buried, but he owned 280 acres where the Carroll Lake is today.

I sure wished you could look on Google Earth and try to locate the cemetery and then provide me the GPS coordinates or the actual road names, such as Carroll Lake Dr or exact mile measure from the Cemetery Rd/Winona Rd intersection to the turnoff road onto Carroll property. I can email you a satellite image showing the Carroll property area with the old Holman boundary lines overlaid. My email is klholman (at) bellsouth.net. Thanks. Larry Holman

Lizzie Buckland Hansbrough
Hello Cindy,
Let me tell you who I am. I am the great granddaughter of Lizzie. My grandmother was her only daughter who was called Nellie in her older years. My daughter Liz is named for these ladies. I know that Lizzie died five months after my grandmother was born and he married Edna Riddle. I recently visited the cemetery with my brother. I could not locate a tombstone for Lizzie or for her only son Harry (my grandmother's real older brother) in the cemetery. Many stones were unreadable and the "story" has it that Lizzie's stone was crushed by a large limb. Lizzie has always been such a mystery to me. Did you actually see a tombstone? Do you know anything about Harry's tombstone as well?

Holman/Pioneer Cemetery
Cindy,

My grandfather was Ed Holman of N. Carrollton buried in Evergreen. I am familiar with Eden Cemetery where my g-grandfather Wm. H Holman is buried. On what CR road and then what private road is this cemetery located? If you have the GPS coordinates of it that would be great. Thanks again for the Holman gravestones photos you put on Findagrave.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for writing me. I am always working in many cemeteries at once throughout the northern/ central tier of Essex County, MA. Worked especially heavy in Mt. Prospect Cemetery this year as well at Harmony in Georgetown, and I've still got a few thousand photos yet to process from Mt. Prospect. I work with my friends the Dodges who do excellent research, and I for the most part am the gravestone photo-guy. I do research myself also on many of the memorials.
Good luck with your research!

Best,

RE: Elie Marceaux
Thank you, Cindy for this. No, I don't want to take any others from you. Most of the Marceaux's in the Gueydan Cemetery are my relatives. I will just continue adding information to them as I can. But Elie Marceaux's is sufficient. The grave next to him is my Grandmother's, his wife. She is unmarked. I am working now to get a headstone put there. The problem is I only have an estimated death year for her. I know she died just before my Dad in 1962, so I believe she died sometime in 1961, but I can't be sure. I have tried the Evangeline Funeral Home in New Iberia, I know she went through there (in St. Martinville, but the records are kept in New Iberia) They can't seem to find her record. Also I have tried the LA State Archives & can't find anything there either. So I am at a loss at this point. Can you think of anywhere else I can check. She did not have a church service that I know of. Thanks again & also for the prompt attention.

Hi Cindy, I usually don't ask anyone to turn over maintenance of a grave site, but this is my maternal Grandfather. I would really appreciate it, if you would be willing to turn this one over to me,if not I will understand.

Thanks a million.

Annie Collins/Joseph Collins
An email is being sent to let you know that I have uploaded the headstone for Annie Collins. Joseph (her husband) shows he died in 1840. The history on Find a Grave shows Warren Hebert Collins as her husband with the same date of death as 1840. Let me know if you want me to upload the headstone picture of Joseph's picture to Warren Collins, then you can correct the info if needed
Thanks :)

Cindy,

I have two things:

1. I want to thank you again and again for creating and transferring the memorial for WGN Strickland.

2. I want to officially ask your permission to add it to my FTM and Ancestry page. I want to be sure that you get the credit you deserve for your hard work.

Thanks for the your many memorials and photos that I have benefitted from.
