RE: Sherwood/Smith
You're welcome. I've actually had those photos on my external hard drive for almost 10 years (I took them in July of 2006). An edit for one of them reminded me that I had them, so I posted all of my photos for York Prairie.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. M, 15th NY Heavy Artillery. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of George Guy's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

I am so glad you added this grave. I never knew my great grandfather and my grandmother had very few stories about him. So thank you for this.

RE: Cook Family
you are very welcome, yes we have a little snow left, still cold but it's been a long winter and need to get out of the house. I have a great grand Aunt who married into the Cook family back in the late 1800's. So when I see a familiar name. I like to look for them. Enjoy.

Hi, you are very welcome.
I have to admit I took those photos a couple of summers ago, before I posted the memorials, am just way behind in adding them. At the moment I am finishing research and posting photos in Springfield Cemetery. It takes a lot of time to research and a lot of data to post the photos. About 90 % of the memorials I did on Find A Grave where done with photos of the gravestones.

Greetings Ingrid.

Hi, Katherine. You're welcome for the photo. I have one of higher resolution I can send directly to you if you'd like. Have you noticed his son lies next to him? Best, Anne Walradt

Sabra Duel Lavender
Hi Katherine, I have added a photo of Sabra taken sometime between 1855-1859. The original tin-type was peeling around the edges but the part that is still there is clear as a bell. Why my great grandmother continued to hold on to Sabra's picture is a wonder. I thought you might want to check out Sabra's picture. Thank You for transferring her memorial to me. Sincerely, William L. Fox, Jr.

Would you be able to transfer Sabra Lavender's Memorial over to me? She was married to my Great Grandfather, John Lavender. Sabra's Find A Grave # is 91819720. My e-mail address is foxy4401@hotmail.com. Please let me know IF you would be willing to transfer her memorial's management over to me. Thank you. William L. Fox

Katherine, you're very welcome. We had a "fun" day too! I did find 2 of the 3 request there, but the weeds were knee-high to waist-high in some places and wet, so my jeans, shoes & socks were soaked to the skin by the time I was done! I tried to photograph every stone that was still standing & readable, & I posted a photo for her husband William also.

So you are not sure where the cemetery is? I had a guide to show me, so maybe you can do the same. I don't know quite how to get there myself.

Hello,

It sounds like a lovely outing, but I do not live in the local area. I took those pictures while there looking for some of my ancestors a few years ago. I live in Illinois. With luck, I can come back later this summer, but that will not be soon enough to help you with your project! Good luck and do enjoy the day,

Kristen

Elzey Sterns
Many thanks for finding my GGG Grandfathers Elzey Sterns gravestone. We now spell Sterns as (Stearns), so now I can start looking for the way he spelled his name. My GGG Grandmother is also buried in Fical Cementery. Her name was Catherine Strobeck Sterns, then married S. Bradley. I would love to have a picture of her grave also if you could. This means so much to me for your time doing this. Again I truly appreciate receiving this picture.

Thanks

Connie Brewster

Katherine,
THANK YOU so very much! I am so pleased you were able to find her gravesite. Was there a John Rawson beside her. Just curious if you noticed. Always understood her son was buried beside her.

You are a dear --and I appreciate so much you volunteering to help me locate my great-great-grandmother.
