|dalya d||RE: Louis Elowitch|
also we had a personal stake in finding Louis since we have a huge Elovitz family and were curious to see if he was related. the origin of our Elovitz was Latvian Yudelovitz changed to anglicize as Elovitz, Elowitch and Elliot.

Can I ask you a favour? Some time ago I added the record for Carl R. Lutz, a Swiss diplomat, buried on Bremgartenfriedhof Bern, Switzerland. Carl Lutz saved the live of thousands of Hungarian Jews. He deserves to be considered "famous". Would you mind voting "famous" for him, and have some of your friends vote for him as well? Thank you and have a good day!

I would like to draw your attention to one more person who might be of interest to you: Esther Hutmacher (1888-1976), buried in Oron-la-Ville, Switzerland.

This might be of interest to you, since you requested HUTMACHER on the Jewish cemetery of Zürich, Switzerland. Please notice Otto HUTMACHER (1908-1977) on 'Bremgarten-Friedhof Bern Cemetery', Switzerland, the largest (non-Jewish) cemetery in Bern. Sadly, this grave is about to be removed.

Hi. I got the pictures of Joseph and Lillian Cutler's headstones. Unfortunately, there was so much ivy and other plantlife growing in front of Lillian's headstone that I could not get a good picture. I moved what I could.

I was today again at the Jewish Cemetery Ohlsdorf and searched the entire plot.
The photo I took was of a different Person and I just mistook it with your request.
I am sorry for this. I think I will delete this photo again.
Most headstones in that plot are easy to read, but a few have hebrew letters or are washed out. A few headstones have fallen on the surface. So there is a small Chance that the headstone is somewhere there. But maybe the plot number was incorrect.

|Arne||RE: Judith Rosenthal|
I saw your photo request for Judith Rosenthal from earlier this year, and I have a question. A Judith Rosenthal was a NYC Public School teacher of mine in the late 1960's in Brooklyn, NY (PS 169), who died in the 1971/72 timeframe. I'm curious whether this might be her gravesite. As there's no birth date listed on the Mount Hebron site, I'm wondering if this might have been hers. If I had to guess, she was probably in her early thirties when she passed. Your request mentioned you were a family member - if so, and this is possibly her, I would be inclined to take a run into the City and take pictures of the family plots. If it's her, I would also add there was a plaque to her memory placed in PS 169 at the time, though I'm not sure it's still displayed there. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

|Howler||I must have been tired|
Today I see a message from someone else, and I noticed that all these messages have the name of the person memorialized as the subject. I got the Waldmans for you.
I ALWAYS look for Waldmans because one of my cousins is a descendant of Waldmans and always asks me to find more of them for her.
When I go back there, I will look for more of them and take more photos.

I don't know what photos you were so happy to see. I was in Maryland on a vacation with a friend who loves cemeteries, and I always go to look for relatives' graves. We walked around for three hours and didn't find the one person whose grave I wanted to visit, but I used up two battery packs taking photos, and it may take me a month to put up all those photos. I don't have a lot of spare time for doing it, but I am so glad to know that I got photos that you wanted to see.
I wish you all the best.
