William Grant Ellis
Pat, I posted Frances Leota Ellis' headstone photo's but when I went to post William Grant Ellis I noticed the death date is different. The birthdate is the same, 1864 but the picture I have has the death date as 1908, what you requested but the memorial page for him has a death date of 1963. Could this be a son or is the date wrong on the memorial page? Thanks for your help! Judy

Pat, Frances & William Ellis are not buried in Anderson Memorial. They are buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson. I was there today & took pictures of their headstones. If you go onto Maplewood Cemetery, you will find the photos you've been searching for. Have a great day, Judy

RE: Harmon Littrell
Unfortunately, no, I don't know. Sometimes, when I get totally confused, I'll temporarily enter a non-burial memorial to use it to try to make sense. I left these because it made more sense to just leave them. I'm related to Fannie (second cousin 3 times removed) thru her mother. Not related to Harmon, although I am to almost all Littrell's and Howard's (his parents). I'm sure these came from Lauderdale county, Alabama, along with most Cox and Hammonds families. There are several spellings of the Hammonds (Hammons, Hammond, etc). Most of my family leap-frogged from a line from Lauderdale county, AL, thru White county, TN, thru Marshall county, TN, thru Overton county, TN, to Floyd county, KY. No stops along the way, just all the way to Carroll and Madison counties, AR. Back in the 1830s to 1880s in horse or oxen drawn wagons, that's quite a trip!! It's not like the first ones were coming to Madison and Carroll counties but, after leaving the hills of Tennessee, etc, the Ozarks were the first place to look like home.

RE: William T Long/Helon L Clark
I am unable to link Frances Long to her parents as she is not one of my entries. If you contact the person who entered her memorial, they can do so. Also, if you are a member of find-a-grave, I will gladly transfer family memorials to your care. That is where there should be.

Hi Pat,

First here is site with a list of the names in the Southworth Family Cemetery located in Owen County.

Also, is Southworth her maiden name? There are also Southworth's in Scott County.

RE: Southworth Cemetery
No, I haven't visited it. I listed the people from the cemetery book while adding my family. You might put in a photo request because there are a couple of people who try to get to the cemeteries & photograph them. I don't know the condition of it now. Best of luck.
