RE: John Cralle Long,
Hi, Scott,
That would be fine. By the way, my brother and I lifted the fallen headstone for John's wife, Josephine Ragland Long, back up on the flat stone. It probably weighed 600lbs. Amazing what levers can do!
Best,
Christine Long

John Cralle Long,
Hi, John,
I wanted to refer you to my listing of my great grandfather, Rev.John Cralle Long, memorial #154720783. Thanks to your listing and GPS, my brother and I were able to find the graveyard on Oak Grove (my grandfather called it "Longacre"), and we discovered many more graves there, which I have posted. We had thought the graves were close to the house and were mystified as to where they were (on the eastern edge of the property and very overgrown). So many thanks!
Best,
Christine Long

Scott, do you mind if I post your photo of the Richeson family cemetery to Ancestry.com? I am a descendant of Jesse Richeson and his first wife, Amelia Rucker. I would of course credit you as photographer and donor.

Either way thanks for taking the photo for use here on Findagrave.

Just found the lovely work you did in 2012 out at this cemetery. All of these people are non-direct ancestors of mine but I had no hope of ever seeing any of the burials at this site. It was my understanding the place was overgrown and nothing remained of the original markers. Amazing to see this glimpse and think on how the land is reclaiming itself after having been the home and livelihood of so many people for so long.

Thanks!

RE: Elizabeth Rucker
Like most of my family the Ruckers seem to have came from England to Virginia then Tennessee and settled in Missouri. Tennessee is the next step back in my family history. I know Belinda Rucker Martin died in Tennesse. I am a retired nurse who now writes family history just for the fun of.
