WAIT! I just realized there is a photo on there. I missed it due to the newspaper article. I will SAC the other contributor. There is no photo on that memorial.
Ignore me! Sorry about that

It is completely possible that the obituary is incorrect. (which is why I hate to post from them!) There is no photo on either one. A photo would solidify where the stone actually is.
It would be great if you could check. I'm sure Mr. Asbill would appreciate it! :)

|Blytha & Donald Ellis||RE: Asbill Cemetery location|
I don't know much about the Asbill Cemetery. I just recently found written information which said several of my relatives were buried there and I made memorials for them. I am in Missouri and have never visited it, but I understand it is a farm cemetery. Here is a statement that someone else made about some people buried there, "Nancy and three of her sons (Andrew T. 1848-3, James F. 1854-65 and David R. 1857-63) are buried on the old Asbill homeplace in Jasper Township, Crawford Co., Arkansas. The graves were unmarked in 1992, but the headstones and footstones were still standing. Also noted, the present owners have put barbed wire around the graves to keep their cattle out."

If you think of it, will you let me know once you've created memorials for them? I've been doing work on this branch and have been able to figure out that your wife is a third cousin to my father. He was born in 1925 and died in 1969.

I wd like to communicate with you or your wife about Victoria, her other sisters Lillian and Celia, and her brother Brady Wells. I have an old photo of Brady, Celia and either Victoria or Lillie you may like to have a copy of. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org
Again, many thanks for the photo. Now I'm searching for the graves of Lillian, Brady and their parents. Celia is buried in the Bixby Cemetery. I've established a memorial for her on Find A Grave under Celia Exendine, her last husband. She was married to my great grandfather Alfred A. Biggs between 1917 and 1939 and bore him one dau.

Many thanks for taking the photos of James and Victoria Absill. It took me a long time to locate Victoria, who is one of my great grandmother's sisters. I appreciate your time and effort.
