Robert E. Collins/Anna Pietruch Zarnoch
Anna was my great aunt, sister of my grandmother Stella Collins (102 on December 12, 2015)
Robert E. Collins was my uncle (died June 1993). I have been trying to find an obituary for my uncle, but so far no luck. I live in the Pittsburgh PA area, so it's not to often I get back to the Utica area. Just thought I would throw that little bit of info to you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

RE: Dan Post
Sorry Carrie, I have not monitored notes sent to me on Find A Grave. I will now do better. I am guessing that the Dan Post you are referring to is my 4G grandfather. I have 3 Dan Posts in a row!. He came from Saybrook to Herkimer Co, NY about 1794. Now, for Joseph Hall. I have not found a connection between them. BUT, I do have a Joseph Hall in my records as I descend from his sister, Rachel who married Ebenezer Meachem. They both come from Enfield, Hartford Co, CT. Her brother Joseph was born 1751. I have a Nicholas Hall as their father. Sorry but that's all I have on the Halls. Nancy

Helen Hall Arnold
Am in Newport. Have map of cemetery. Helen Hall Arnold is in Section O, Lot 35. Owner is A.O. Arnold. There are no stones on that lot or on lot 34 also owned by A.O. Arnold. Want scan of the map?

Section O Lot 25 is near the middle of the back half of the cemetery. If you are asking for location because you plan to visit the cemetery, go to the Newport History Center and get the map of the cemetery. It is just down the street from the cemetery at 7435 Main Street. It is normally open M,W,F 1:00 to 4:00 but can be open other times by appointment (315) 845-8434.

Maybe I can get there to photo Fri or Sat.

FYI, Clara, Frank and William T are all in the same plot. I was there today before you put your request in, sorry. But requests get filled fairly quickly there.

Addie Hall in Newport Cemetery
Sorry, I took photos of all the Halls I could find in Newport Cemetery but have not found a stone for Addie Hall. Research at Newport History Center leads me to believe that she is the daughter of Albert G. Hall (Find A Grave 22278024) and his wife, Mary L. Hall. Albert G. Hall's parents appear to be Joseph L. Hall (Find A Grave 14922750) and Olive Harris (Find A Grave 78414970).

Zarnochs of Massachusetts
Hello, Carrie. I am starting to help a friend build her tree, and her grandfather was Henry J. Zarnoch (1921-2000) who died in Boston, MA. I do not know where he was born, but when he was married, he and his wife, Mary McPartland Zarnoch (1925-2002, resided in Boston. Their daughter, Helene (1948-1992) graduated from South Boston High School in 1966.

Have you come across any of those names in your line?

I'm glad to know there's no urgency to find out, as I may not be out that way again for a few weeks. When I am, I'll check in, just to verify the date. You can't always be certain that it's not erroneous, just because it's writ in stone. If there's ever a doubt, best to verify. And it's no trouble.

Re: Mishler and Day in Oaklawn

You're welcome for the photo. I would've stopped at the town hall to check the accuracy of the date, but it was after closing on Friday. Maybe next time.

You're very welcome. If you want me to transfer any of your relatives over to you, let me know.

It looks like I've got a copy of the Pine Plains write-up about the murder, but I can't find the Poughkeepsie one. The copy I have is a PDF, so you'll need adobe reader to open it. I can't send it to you through findagrave, I'll need your email address
