RE: Nancy Courtney Reynolds
The information in the memorial came from the Marion County Cemetery Inscription Book. The book was done by the county genealogical society which is located in the public library in Salem, Illinois.

RE: Delia Crow
Since John and Delia Crow are your ancestors I am going to transfer their memorials to you. I think someday we may find that we are distant cousins.

RE: Delia Crow
Are you related to John and Delia Crow? I have to admit that I added the memorial out of the Marion Co., Illinois Inscription Book. My grandmother, great grandparents and great great grandmother are all buried in Peaceful Valley Cemetery as well as many other distant relatives. I did not believe at the time that I as related to John Crow, but doing further research I believe I may be. My 10th great grandparents were John Crow (1606-1686) and Elizabeth Goodwin. So far I am unable to connect the two John Crow's, but I am descended on a maternal line from John and Elizabeth Crow. My descending family names are White, Loomis, Bingham, Abbe, Pond and Crossett. Harriett Crossett is my great grandmother and she is buried in Peaceful Valley Cemetery. I see that John A. Crow's parents were married in New York and Harriett's mother Matilda Pond was born in New York. If you are related do you know who Stephen Crow's parents and grandparents were?

I did link John to his mother Lucy Elwell.

Thanks for taking the photo of Mary Ziegelbauer. The wide angle view was very impressive because now the question is why a Ziegelbauer was buried in the Burkitt plot. Thanks again!

I wondered if you would remove one of your extra pictures so that I could post a portrait of Sam Streetman. Maybe the one of the two stones? Thank you. -Rebecca

James A. Breeding, Glenwood Cemetery
I have a portrait of Judge Breeding that I can't add to this memorial because the photo number has been reached. I wonder if there is one of these pictures that you are not in love with, that I could replace with his image. Thanks for photographing Glenwood. - Rebecca
