You gave me the incorrect memorial number for Charles E. Ramsey - 47443508 is not it.

Please provide # of people so I can change them. The information linked together was what was sent to me. So #'s of people would help.

|Shirley Hogue||Davis family|
I assumed since you entered other Davis names that they are family members, so I transfered Rufus and John to you.
Thanks for all that you do to keep Findagrave.com a great place for genealogy

|Obsessed Genealogist||Andrew Meredith|
d. 1887 Wayne County, Indiana was the officator at my ancestor's marriage.
Zimri Lamb b. 1811-1813 N.C.
Cyntha Davis (Cynthia)
License application 15 June 1846
Marriage 21 June 1846
Wayne County, Indiana
No one has been able to figure out exactly who Zimri's parents were. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. There are speculations, but we don't know for sure.
Cynthia's mother is listed on her gravestone as Mary Davies (not helpful because it is a common name)
After the marriage by 1850 they are in Parke county, Indiana with 3 older children assumed to be Zimrie's from a previous marriage (no one has found this wife's name)
They had several children but by 1867 were divorced. Zimri married Susan Nance Benedict (widow of John Benedict) in Pike county, Indiana.
She had 2 children from the previous marriage and they continued to have children together.
Along the way they also lived in Knox County, Indiana.
By 1880, Zimri disappears from the records. His last child Luzena/Luzina was born about 1878. She died in 1899.
There are a large number of children that I have sorted out (some of them modernized their names)
While in Parke County, Indiana there were several Zimri's whose names were often mixed up in newspapers. This Zimri named one son Zimri Rufus Lamb.
No one has Zimri's (the older one) death record, obit or burial location.
There ia also a Zimri Lamb of similar age in Ohio, Kansas and North Carolina.

|I Remember When||York children|
Thank you for the links you sent for Melissa and Willie York. I've added them to the pages and also put a photo request out for both graves. There was originally photos on the pages, but the creator of the page was put off Find a Grave and her photos were all removed, so I've requested new ones.

Thank you Mary for your answer. I added the Clapper for Melissa's maiden name. On Walter, I failed to tell you that I have the cemetery book for this cemetery, and the record shows that only the years of birth and death were on the stone for Walter and his wife, Grace, so a photo won't help. You could contact the Cherokee County Genealogy Library in Columbus to see if they would have the death date.

Just letting you know that I've changed his parents to the ones you've provided, and connected him to them.
Thank you for letting me know.
Added by SleepingDog on Oct 27, 2013 5:05 AM
Was Clapper her maiden name or had she been married previously?
Added by JFI on Oct 26, 2013 3:31 PM
Thanks for the info. I looked back on some old death records in Cherokee County, and it lists his death date as the 24th. Are you certain it was the 28th. I do want it to be correct.

Thanks so much for the beautiful tombstone photo on the site. I have transferred him into the correct cemetery. Also, you have added your beautiful photo on Memorial # 30807641. This is a duplicated site and should not carry a photo of the tombstone. We have been trying to get this site deleted and person will not respond. I appreciate you writing me about this. Thanks again for your photo, I have updated his memorial according to tombstone. Richard
