Laurytown Road Cemetery
Carbon County
Pennsylvania, USA

Can you tell me if this is the Laurytown poor farm cemetery? in the late 1800's it was known as the Middle Coalfield Almshouse, and it was located at Rockport, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. Is the cemetery currently located on a tree farm? Can you tell me if there is a list of burials?

Thank you.

RE: 96768723 James N Rex
You are absolutely right. I should have shown love and care. Please forgive me. I know you have been a huge help in the past. I'm so sorry Rochelle. I only recently looked for their memorials and noticed it. If you would like to call me names, I deserve them. Let me start over next time.

96768723 James N Rex
Hello - you have merged my memorial file of James Nathaniel Rex into your file at the WRONG cemetery and mine at the correct cemetery was deleted. I don't know how you can merge without my consent. Anyway, i made a new memorial. He and Cora are at HEIDELBERG Union which sounds a lot like Union. The two are both in Slatington. I've been to their graves. Please delete yours 96768723. Thanks

The Gould family
If you haven't already, please read The Pennsylvania Rambler:Hickory Run State Park. - A haunting in Hickory Run. He relates the tragic story of the Gould Family. You may be able to add someting of this tragedy in the Gould Family bio sec. I would contact Norman Houser (The Pennsylvania Rambler for permission to do so and/or use his name as a source.
Have a great day!
