I'll try it! I'll take the picture from each side this time and try the flash from directly in front of it. We shall see - it's a good thing I know exactly where it is. Thanka for your help.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 124644354
Hi, Tony. When my sister gets back from Nebraska to watch Mom, I'll be able to get out to Ellison. I still haven't figured out how to get there early enough to discount the tree shade - I need to find a lamp that's battery operated to ligth the ones under the trees! Maybe my brother-in-law can help. I'll let you know as soon as I have the picture. Ruth

Cox - Fowler Cemetery
I have added the photos you requested. There was no individual marker for WT Cox Sr so I used the monument with all of the family names on it. I also included a view of all of the plots.
The plot numbers are all in Section A
Emeline - A-46-7
WT Sr - A-46-9
WT Jr - A 46-10
Jessire - A-46-6
Bertha -A-46-8

RE: Krel's
Thanks Tony,

I will contact her and see if I myself can get some changes. After 30 day if the changes are not made you can submit them to admin... there is no reason that contributors should not be updating the memorials when asked. Let me know if I can help you anytime..

Koontz/Fairview Cemetery
Hi Tony, I also have a photo of Cora B. Koontz 1892-1987. She is buried with them. I'm guessing this is Mother? Let me know if you would like to make a memorial for her and I will add the photo. If I don't here from you in a few days I will make one for her. Just let me know!
Thanks, Kristy

RE: Ross Memorial
Tony, you can view his death certificate on click on Ross name, go to James T. Ross & you will find his family, his picture that I added and his death certificate. I was also wondering about a marker for him. There are other James T. Ross memorials in Missouri also

RE: Edwards @ Ellison Cem
You're very welcome. The problem is that the sun was behind the stone this time. Maybe I can catch it with the sun shining on it next time!

Edwards @ Ellison Cem
Glad I could help reunite William, Catharine, & Luella with their family. I added the picture of William & Catharine's stone, but it's not very good. I will get a better picture this spring and replace this one.

Since you are a MO native, I hope you can find this cemetery and answer all the grave finder requests for it. My husband and I spent a very interesting afternoon and finally found its location - an isolated cemetery, the oldest in Lafayette Co., and about a two mile hike off the road through a corn field, across a creek, into a woodsy brushy area perfect for hiding a group of bushwhackers and their horses. The people who own the adjoining land visited it in the 70s and said the last burial was in the very early 1900s. So we leave this grave finders paradise to a younger and more able personage to explore and photograph. It is north of Bates City near the corner of D and FF. You should expect to clear the brush and clean the stones as I expect it is probably about 100 years since anyone has done that.
Good luck. And please post your findings as I am indeed curious.
