Hi Yvonne,

I'm sorry, but your Alfred Deforest Smith is not in my tree, so I don't have any information on him. I did check Michigan death certificates and found his, but unfortunately he died a widower, and the certificate lists his parents as unknown:

Best regards,

RE: James Ayling
There is some confusion here. I am not sure why Jason is the name. I no longer have the original file that I submitted to Find A Grave. I know that Jas is James and I also have another James in this cemetery. I do know that Find A Grave now allows folks to submit edits and they are automatically accepted after 2 weeks if the member doesn't respond to them. I have tried to be on top of my requests but I don't know how many were auto approved without my knowledge prior. Thanks, Pat

Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for submitting the edit on Elizabeth, I was wondering what your source is for her birth date?

Thank you!

Easter Thank You 04 03 2015

In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.

My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun.

To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.

Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

RE: Sand Hill Cemetery in Bangor, NY
your best bet is ti figure out who manages the cemetery and write/call them to ask about the folks you are interested.

Some cemeteries are based on transcripts of someone walking, some are based on the cemetery record, and some are based on both :)

RE: John J Armstrong
To my knowledge, there are no burials for the poor in Oak Mound Cemetery. This is a privately owned cemetery, not owned by the city or county. The memorial for John J. Armstrong reflects the burial location in the cemetery office records. The posted photo is of the designated plot which contains his burial. The burial records are not on-line (except for the Find A Grave memorials). You could try to call the cemetery office during normal business hours during the week. The office is not staffed during the weekend (an office staff of one). Good Luck in your research.

RE: Frances Hult
A couple of years ago you sent me a message regarding the stone on the grave of my aunt, Frances Hult, in Albuquerque. You told me no one put her date of death on her stone. I took care of that right away...I think it was in 2012. If you are ever that way again could you check to make sure it got done.

RE: Hannah Bushopp Cowles
Hannah Bushopp Cowles is my 9th great-grandmother. I have a copy of her marriage certificate to John Cowles. They were married on 01 Jul 1638 in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, England. My cousin went to the church and obtained a copy of it many years ago.

Hi Yvonne,

I was looking for Abigail Parker in the cemetery, and I was unable to find her marker, so I checked the library. Unfortunately, if she had a marker there at one time, it is gone. However, there are lots of other Parkers. If you check, go to local history, then cemeteries, you can see all the Parkers who do still have markers. If you would like a photo of any of them, add it to the list and I will be happy to take it for you.

Knapps in E Greenbush Cemetery
Hello. I walked the cemetery today for you; looking for Knapp. I found Susan Knapp widow of --?-- Knapp. Next to her stone is one on the ground, her husband, very worn. I have photos of both. Should I email those to you & you can decide if they are your family?

RE: John Armstrong
Oh! I am so sorry. I posted the wrong picture for John Armstrong. That was suppose to be for John Arnold in that space. I deleted the picture and please tell me the info again. There are 2 Johns listed in the master file. John H. died 1928 and John Elliot died 1958. I will be back there on Thursday and can try again( if it's not raining!)
